If the movie doesn't end with a twist where it turns out the entire game was the coma dream of the "new guy" I'm going to be very disappointed and call false advertising on the name.

I really don't care about such films. It is about an egotistical douche who cannot fathom the fact that someone does not share their love and devotion to the game, and instead of simply asking the guy to try harder or not play with them, he decides to "win".
Also, i am not a fan of making fun of other people because of their hobbies.

You took all that from the trailer? Hats off to you.:)Looked just like a fun movie to me, but ,I thought the guys making that movie are making fun of themselves not of others ,big difference.But you might be right and this is a shameless slur on all the poor gamers.

Saw the trailer. Looks like it WASN'T made by/for people who are actually part if the tabletop RPG community. The main character is the very essence of antisocial/stinky/insecure/fatbody gamer people think make up our 'demographic'. I probably wouldnt be so harsh if the trailer was remotely funny but IMO, it was far from. More D'baggery on an indie scale..

Again if you make a comedy you will want to play with well known tropes and stereotypes,its funny.

Well known tropes shouldnt necessarily include blatant negative overtones. If I go to see a movie that pokes fun at the "tropes" of being a modern Jew, I dont excpect a big nosed/whiny/gold hungry hypochondriac as the main character.
Move along, nothing new or creative to see here...
