It's not stated that I am not invincible and not a god, so therefore I must be.

That's my point. "The rules don't state your character is not invincible, and yet your character isn't invincible." is the same as "The rules don't state that combat rules don't apply to trap attacks, and yet the combat rules don't apply to traps."
The eventual official answer (if there ever is one) might go either way, but it won't be driven by the "unless you can show me where it says that traps do not follow standard combat rules in a rulebook" demand, since that leads to silly results, like your example.

I’m of the opinion that unless you have uncanny dodge you should be treated flat footed. Also I think it has to do with the trap, if you have to make a perception check to find them it’s because the creator didn’t want them to be found so your surprised when they go off and a spike shots through your foot. On the same token You see a giant rock with a log holding it up and a rope across your path tied to the log you shouldn’t be flat footed when you pull it and the rock comes at you.
I am perfectly fine with allowing someone who has Uncanny Dodge to retain their DEX against a trap. So, no there is no significant difference.Ok sure, but do any of those apply to traps? If not, then no, there is no significant difference in this context.If being unaware of a trap caused you to become flat-footed then Uncanny Dodge would prevent you from becoming flat-footed. If not, it would not prevent you from losing your DEX bonus to AC. Pretty significant, don't you think?
