Half Orc / Half Elf Racial Finally Put to Rest

It generally is access to the (superior) human traits and favoured class bonuses that is the biggy here. Better than a bonus feat? For the half-orc I'm tempted if I'm melee and the half-elf if a caster...

i had a 3.5 gnome half-troll half illithid, is that good enough? I have had several different variants of that one. two page backstory that bordered on a hentai plotline. Sadly it was due to my dm saying we all play "safe" characters. Challenege accepted and won me thinks.
