J. J. Abrams – two Emmy’s, one Golden Globe

J. J. Abrams produced Cloverfield. Surely, he loses points for that.

I liked Cloverfield except the camera actually gave me motion sickness.

You and everyone else.

EDIT: Didn't much care for the same camera work in Star Trek, the Kahn without Kahn.

Abrams, without a doubt.

I really liked Alias and I am back into Lost. Do t.v. series count more than movies?

Now that Peter Jackson isn't such a fat a$$ I think he could probably take JJ "Dyn-O-Mite!" Abrams out without much problem.

Or is this a fight about which one is a better director? Less geeky?

Feel free to set your own terms of the match. Choose your weapon, as it were.

The Hobbit wins potential bonus points, but The Hobbit 2 just wins confusion points.

Honestly, to be fair, the old animated Hobbit movie from way back created my most formative impressions of a fantasy world, so the new Hobbit movies will have to top that... as odd as it may sound.

Producer doesn't give Peter Jackson enough credit for this movie.

He was also the writer, cinematographer, editor, make-up and special effects guy as well as being the star of the movie.

And the scene with the rocket launcher at the house...awesome!

They're making a sequal before actually making the hobit? (just a joke because you list 2 before 1)

and what will the hobbit 2 be about, his 30+ years in the shire after the war of the 5 armies?

Look, Jackson does great movies.

But Jackson also looks like a teacher I hated with all my being.

Lose.
