Dazing assault and weapon combat maneuvers?

I'm looking at the description for Dazing Assault. It is not clear to me if it Dazes on a successful combat maneuver using a weapon, like Trip or Sunder?

I'm leaning towards that combat maneuvers won't daze with it....although I wonder if you have Greater Sunder and then do some damage to the opponent with it, would it daze?

Are either trip or sunder a melee attack? No. They are combat maneuvers. Only opponents you hit with melee attacks have to save against being dazed. The feat says that you do, however take -5 to both melee attacks and combat maneuvers for the round in which you are attempting a dazing assault.
