Dawning Star was a very successful d20 science-fiction product, truly head-and-shoulders over any others in scope and development. I had the privilege of serving as a technical advisor. The game is relaunching. Justin was very impressed by the Fate Core Kickstarter, so the new Dawning Star has found its engine. This is a great setting, full of space operatic wonder, intrigue, military adventure, delving for relics, bounty hunting, and survival possibilities. Check it out here:

Five days to go, nearing the $20k stretch goal.
Oh man! I have Helios Rising on my bookshelf! It was an amazing inspiration to me, for unconventional d20 ideas!
I wish I knew about this project in September. :(
