I bought the box. I like it. Shipping took a $%^&ing looong time -in which I acquired the Core Rule Book, Bestiary1, and Rise of
the RuneLords Anniversary Edition - so arguably don't even need it.

But it's great!

Pawn set, flip mat and guides to lend to my new players. GREAT!!

I agree that Paizo definitely created an effective gateway drug. Since buying the BB a few months ago I've purchased several of the hardbound books, three or four modules, another flip mat, and the Bestiary box.

Stop me before I buy again :/

I can relate to your experience, I owned many of the rulebooks when I bought three Beginner Boxes(an online store had them on sale for $15 - or; about what a set of dice costs in this expensive country of mine), and I'm very happy with them, expecially the player race pawns. The bases are of inferior quality to the bestiary box, but I can forgive that.

Next stop: Sandpoint Campaign Box(es) ;) hint hint
