I wanted to ensure that the core material for the reaper would be usable in as many campaigns as possible, since the race needs to have enough awesome in one package to make up for the fact that the core races get lots of continuing support.
That said, I agree that a soulknife archetype would be majorly awesome! Something to think about as a possibility for the compilation book with all the heroic races!
