Strikethrough tag?

Website Feedback

Is there a way to mark text with a strikethrough tag on the messageboards?

In PBP, that would be a good way to mark which spells you've already cast.

I tried the standard BBCode tag, and it didn't work.

I also tried straight-up HTML, and that didn't work either.

I thought I'd seen strikethrough used on the Paizo messageboards before, but I can't find an example.

Thanks!

I found myself in need of a strike through tag recently as well.

I'd love to have strikethrough tag. I would probably overuse it in FaWtL section and few other threads but I hope you won't take it as reason not to implement it...

I've certainly had times I've wanted strikethrough as well.

This bodes well for our cause!

Yar!

I'll also throw my hat in for the cause. Especially for it's use in PBPs with keeping track of spells casts and the like.

We've been planning on replacing our BBCode parsing code for awhile, but rather than wait anymore for that, we'll go ahead and add a tag for indicating strikethrough sometime this week.

Most excellent! I don't suppose an underline tag is in the works too?

In typography, it's a space which can't be used to break a line. Wikipedia. Equivalent to in HTML.

On a Mac, you can type it with option-space. I don't know if there's a Windows equivalent, but you can copy/paste it from my first arrow above and it should behave correctly.
