Barbarian Video

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Browsing Youtube and came across this trailer. It actually has a nice representation to me of a Pouncing Barbarian and some more traditional Fighter/Warrior types!

if you mute the sound try syncing this video from Two Steps from Hell at about 35-36 seconds!

I am thinking at the end the "Barbarian" is wondering if he has any applicable rage powers.... Sorry my link-fu is weak

Yes that's the one! The Two Steps from Hell video is Strength of a Thousand Men , run time 2.21 minutes

Liberty's Edge

The Two Steps video plays fine in the US.

I think he's a memory leak.

Dude I love that game! The character in question is Kaim Argonar, and he is an immortal. The whole idea is that he cannot be killed, kind of like Highlander in a way.

Though he is barbaric in that video, he does learn how to use magic from other characters in-game. So you could say he took a few levels in magus/bard/wizard along his journey. But he is still one of the best heavy hitters in the game, so him being mostly a barbarian works.

Whenever I think of the barbarian class, William Wallace from Braveheart comes to my mind immediately actually:

Especially at the end where he yells at the enemy commander before taking down his horse. That's how I envision a barbarian when he's ragin'.

Though William Wallace isn't dumb by any means. And as a Pathfinder character I'd think he'd have a decent Charisma mod due to his leadership.

Point being, barbarians aren't (always) totally dumb I guess. Even though they may seem like it in a fight sometimes.
