PFS: Multiattack & PC's

Multiattack is a "Monster Feat", meaning its banned for PC's in PFS.

Feats: none of the feats are legal for play for PCs, animal companions, or familiars unless specifically granted by another legal source.

Natural Weapon Rangers (NWR) have Multiattack on their Combat Style feat list. Meaning, a NWR can take this feat without having to meet the prereqs. Being a "monster" is not a prereq.

My question is, can a NWR select Multiattack as a "regular" feat once he meets the prereqs? It is worth noting that the only prerequisite is; "three or more natural attacks".

Presumably he could select Multiattack at level 3. Right? (Half-Orc toothy racial trait + Aspect of The Beast {Claws of the Beast} Combat Style feat).

The APG should constitute "another legal source".

Some characters have three or more natural attacks at level 1. If you can select Multi-Attack from a legal source, like Natural Weapon Ranger, then as soon as the source provides it as an option and you meet the qualifications you are welcome to select it and enjoy it.

I don't think you'd be able to select a feat from your NWR list prior to it becoming available on that list if you ordinarily couldn't otherwise choose it. The APG doesn't make Multiattack generally available. It makes it available to a 10th level NWR.

This is how I read it, but I don't know that I can find anything that definitively says this is how it is supposed to work.

This one might be better answered in the PFS forum, I know a lot of the posts about rules get bounced over, but this is less a rules (general) question and more a rules (how does PFS handle this) question. You'd get more of the appropriate eyes reading it over 'there' in that regard.

Thanks guys. I'll give it a shot in the PFS forum. I may package it with Improved Natural Weapon as that's another Monster Feat an NWR could qualify for easily...

For PFS it is a legal source as a ranger bonus feat, at 10th level I believe, and only then. Therefore you can take it as a bonus feat but would not be legal otherwise.
