Pirate Rapier

Rules Questions

Where does one find the rapier that uses sea water in its damage?

Sczarni

THIS is all I could find.

Tidewater cutlass lets you use Hydraulic push. that what you were looking for?

I guess you mean a rapier called saltsting or saltbarb... it's in the Skulls and Shackles AP (book 2, I believe)

Thanks can you give me a link to Skulls & Shackles book you are talking about?

Sovereign Court

Brinesting is the weapon you're thinking of, I think. I think this is it?

Thanks but nope.

There are several items in the Skulls & Shackles AP that are unique to the AP. One of them in Brine's Sting, It is found in Raiders of the Fever Sea. It fits the description for which you supplied in your original post.

I do not know if you will be able to find a link to such a weapon under that specific name since the name of the weapon (Brine's Sting) plus what the weapon does would be Paizo intellectual property. Therefore, posting a link the name of the weapon and its stats would likely be in violation of Paizo's copyrights.

Sczarni

I linked to Brine's Sting in the 2nd post.

I have it but it does not show up in Hero's Lab as it used to.

Do you have the Skull & Shackles AP checked in the Hero Configuration? It'll disappear if you don't, or if you unclick it.

Thanks, have it checked now and it works for new characters but it does not work for old ones.

The hero configuration is specific to each portfolio, meaning that you have to turn it on for each character - or you have to check it off, click the button to set it as a default configuration setting, then load the portfolio.

and how do I do that for individual characters already made?

Open the character, then the 'Configure Hero' option is available from one of the menus on the menu bar; I'm not at home so I can't tell you the specific option.

Let me know when you find it as I can not.

Once you open the character up, on the menu bar click on Character, then click on Configure Hero; this will bring up the "Configure your Hero" screen that you normally get when you start a new character, and if you select the new source here (in this case the adventure path) and click OK, it should be available to the currently-loaded character.

Thanks all!
