Hi
There's been some debate on the PSOC site for some time now, including the role of GM's.
Now there's an on-line VC, can paizo show some support for those prolific GM's who set up games for us?
Not only do they have to prep the scenarios as normal, but have to deal with the technical complexities of setting up games online, often across international time zones.
I was wondering if there could be some award along the GM Star system, to reward those who promote the on-line games? We already award coins/tokens to those who go 'above & beyond the call...', as I saw at PaizoCon UK this year.
Doesn't have to be much, but some token of appreciation would be nice.
Thanks

(About quarter to third of all my PFS games played were online)

I have GMed PFS at a games club, at conventions, over play-by-post, over VTT and will be GMing at a games shop in the next couple of weeks. All modes have their own challenges; I don't think there's a special need to reward online GMs beyond the recognition given to other GMs.
Having said that, I think it's worth making sure that online GMs aren't disadvantaged, e.g. in getting access to their shirt reroll bonus when playing online (not sure how this would work in PBP).

Hi
Was thinking along the basic boons given out at conventions, or possibly even a few free pdf's at each GM star gained.
They do extra work sorting out the techie side of things to run games.
I've gifted a few pdf's to some GM's, thought something might can be done to acknowledge their work
Thanks

There's an online convention (Virtuacon) in a couple of months which I am GMing for; I believe the PFS co-ordinator for the event is working with the online VC on getting scenarios and boons provided for GMs.
Also, this weekend, Iron Helix is coordinating a 10 table run of the Year of the Shadow Lodge special, and has worked (almost certainly with VC Joe) to get both GM boons and player boons for that game.
