Craft construct

Advice

Hey everyone. I've been looking into the craft construct feat, and it seems like all constructs require at least one craft skill to create them. The most common seem to be Craft (sculpture) and Craft (Clockwork). Anybody know of any others that are particularly common?

Spellcraft is enough; the listed craft skills are alternatives.

most others seem almost unique:
craft(alchemy) - alchemical golem
craft(leahter) - carrion golem
craft(weapons) - iron cobra (i think also craft(armor))

Ok, I thought it was necessary to have both. Thanks.

I've also seen a number of constructs that use craft {Siege Engines) and/or Knowledge: Engineering such as the Cannon Golem. Can't remember any others that use Siege Engine and/or knowledge: engineering at the moment.

Are you sure? I ask because a golem builder is a character I've been wanting to play.

The Exchange

Have you considered playing a summoner and reskinning the eidolon as a construct?

Alternatively, make sure you find the animated object rules from Carrion Crown.

Sovereign Court

Craft (Sculpture) is one of the more common skills, used for Clay Golems, Ice Golems, and Stone Golems.

(EDIT: I'm sure)Crafting constructs follows the same rules as other crafting any other magic items.

It's in the general rules for item creation that at the end of the crafting period you make a spellcraft check(some items - including constructs - allow craft[specific]) to determine success (you can take 10*).

*you should check the two FAQs above the linked.
