Been so busy at work, I forgot to share
Huzzah for those of us on the sinister side of life!

Now all we need do is invade Poland and round up all the right handers and stick them in concentration camps...
Nah. There aren't enough southpaw guards available.
What we have to do is demonize the northpaws as an inferior version of humanity. Make them feel bad about themselves. That kind of thing.

The only thing done right for us southpaws is that, in the States, the drivers' side of the vehicle is on OUR side of the vehicle.
HAH!!
We die earlier because of the lifetime of stress in dealing with endless backwards-ness. Teachers trying to force us to write with the wrong hand.
'Ambidexters' and southpaws, living together, MASS HYSTERIA!!!
Madness, I tell you, madness!!
^_^

Actually, since our left arms are normally stronger than our right arms, it's a trap, since if you jerk on the wheel (say when trying to avoid an accident) we're more likely to careen into traffic.

Since one of you mentioned it already, I want to ask a question. Did any of you experience being forced to do things like a decent right-handed person? If so, who tried to fix you and how old were you at the time? And how long ago was that?
Although I have heard of this happening in the past, I only know of two people who experienced it. One was my aunt who is now in her eighties. The other is someone I used to know from the gym. He is probably in his mid-thirties now. He said his aunt tried to make him do things right-handed and he believes that he suffered some ill-effects from it.

I had a couple teachers try to teach me to write right handed, they have up. We also used slate tablets that made writing difficult. My dad's a 'broken leftie' which arguably saved his life. (Doc said the stroke should have been lethal, but because our brains are normally more diffused, it didn't take out the 'right' areas.)
Here is a nice article about the effects of right handed desks, for example.

The kindergarten I went to in Arizona (back in 1971 ish?) didn't have any left-handed desks, scissors, etc. and the nun that ran it would whack my hand with a ruler when I drew or wrote with my left hand.
I'm pretty much right-handed now, the only real bother it's been is that when I reconnected with family in New England post-college they were all lefties and I felt kind of like an oddity at Thanksgiving dinner, banging elbows with the person to my right. Still, while writing with my left hand is no longer an option (everything comes out backwards), I can eat with my left hand fine and 'act normal' for a single dinner a year.
These days, thanks to a decade or so of 'writing' on the computer, I can barely read the chicken-scratch I produce when I write with my right hand anyway, so it's probably a bit disingenuous to whine about not being able to write with my left hand anymore... :)
'Broken' leftie would be a bit overwrought for my experience, although I wouldn't use my experience to discount others experiences.
