I sneak into the room, all quiet and stealthy like
I suppose if it is dangerous, I may as well go out like this
I think to myself, then if i survive crossing into the room, I turn to the rest and say
Well, what are you waiting for, Saint Cuthburt to smack you on the rear, let's get moving ladies and gentlemen
JRR Tolkien |
Alissa: It is a pit trap that if 5 or more lbs are put on it, the floor disappears and anyone in the room gets to make a reflex save at -4, if not you fall 10' and are stuck in a very sticky contact poison that does 1d6/rd.
Funny that the bug was the one wandering around alone as he would have been stuck in flypaper.
Also It would be a good idea to do the corridors of glass first.
Alissa: This is the trap in this room.
JRR Tolkien |
Alissa: Good catch!, I don't know how I could possibly screw that up. Also that room was in the corridors of mist
Ok then you all make your way back to the main room and make your way down the Corridors of Glass. The corridor goes 130'forward to a golden door. 50' forward and to your right/east is a passageway, 90' forward and to your left/west is a passageway, 110' forward and to your right/east is a passageway.

JRR Tolkien wrote:Alissa: All Hallways are 10' x 10'
Left Arch: i.e. Corridors of Shadow, 50' long hallway with a 10' wide opening 25' down the hallway, Key is shown at the end of a 10' long hallway
Middle Arch: i.e. Corridors of Glass, 50' long hallway with a 10' wide opening 25' down the hallway, Key is shown at the end of a 10' long hallway.
Right Arch: i.e. Corridors of Mist, 50' long hallway with a 10' wide opening 25' down the hallway heading to the right. The key is shown at the end of the 50' long straight hallway.
There are no other exits from this room
All: Ok reset, you are all in this room and have been down the corridor of shadows i.e. The left archway. The wasp went down the Corridors of Mist and almost became stuck in the pit trap
JRR Tolkien |
Alissa: Ok then this was the corridor that had a golden door at the end of a 50' long hallway, behind the door was the empty room with the nasty pit trap. 30' down the hallway and on the right/east side is a passageway.
This passageway is 70' long ending in a golden door, 50' down this hallway is a passageway heading south.
JRR Tolkien |
Alissa: The south hallway goes 170' before it begins a slight bend to the southeast. 50' down and to the right/east is a passageway, 140' down and to the left/west is a passageway.
Also for everyones info climbing walls made of the vinegar smelling cloud-like material is quite easy; a climbing character can punch or kick as many handholds or footholds a sdesired.
JRR Tolkien |
Nasty: The cloud tastes like rancid vinegar, but here's the best part as you remove a chunk it instantly regenerates so you now have all the rancid vinegary cloudstuff you could ever hope for 8>)
Alissa: 20' in front of you is a golden door that you have become quite familiar with. You find a trap on the right door handle.
JRR Tolkien |
Nasty: at the bottom of the stairs is a 60' crawlway(4' diameter) heading south. As you reach the bottom you see a humanoid creature crawling toward you. The creature has gray, leathery skin and a hateful light burns in it's eyes. It is wearing a necklace around it's neck. The creature is 40' away from you.
Alissa: You and everyone else, except maybe Arty will have to crawl behind Nasty. If there is a trap Nasty will find it 8>)
JRR Tolkien |
Arty: The bottom of the stairs immediately becomes a tunnel, But I think you can stand. You are less than 4' tall yes.
Nasty: The creature moves 5' forward and pulls a bead off of its necklace and throws it at you. Please make a reflex save with a -4 penalty for half damage.
Fire: 6d4 ⇒ (4, 2, 2, 1, 1, 3) = 13
Fortunately for the rest of the party your large size blocks the fire from damaging them.
