Attacking one of them. Try to move into flank position.
Attack 1: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (5) + 15 = 20 22 if flanking Damage 1: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Attack 2: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24 26 if flanking Damage 2: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Attack 3: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24 26 if flanking Damage 3: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

If I am flanking.
Sneak Attack 1: 5d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 4, 5, 1) = 14
Sneak Attack 2: 5d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 5, 3, 3) = 14
Sneak Attack 3: 5d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 6, 3, 6) = 22

Sovereign Court

Troll Reflex: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13....Aaaah it burns

Puddin Reflex: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (6) - 2 = 4...Gurgle, gurgle burn

Schism manages to finish off 3 of the badly damaged trolls or 3 puddins whatever you want

Trolls of course.

Forgot I still had a puddin on me.

I take damage before using a move action to scrape it off into flank position.

Attack puddin vigorously: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (16) + 15 = 31 Damage: 1d8 + 5 + 5d6 ⇒ (3) + 5 + (2, 4, 1, 1, 4) = 20

I just discovered that the fine creator of this lovely game has taken a break due to some family tragedy. I wish you peace and healing. You will be sorely missed.

:`(
*sniff

Sad puppy. Me miss this group.

If this game ever starts back up, I'd be willing to join.

Still working on reading through the topic.

Losing one of our own kinda put a damper on things, but hopefully we will start again. No rush. First of the year is fine.

Restart clock: 40 days 15 hours 40 minutes

Mark

Scarab Sages

*gasp* Where EVER did you procure such an EXQUISITE clock???

I shall surely be watching it with great interest...!

I found it in one of the lower Vaults.
The previous owner didn't need it any more.

Tic-Tic-Tic: 20 days 6 hours 40 minutes

wonder what it tastes like?

Well, the game didn't start and it's all Nasty's fault for eating the alarm clock. :-(

Sovereign Court

Don't you try and rush me you damn whippersnappers, now who do I have at the table and where the hell did i leave off

Scarab Sages

*...tinkertinkertinker...*

I'm here.

We were surrounded by trolls and puddings, although I think half of them are out of commission.

I'll take the trolls.

Bite Attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (13) + 12 = 25
Claw Attack 1: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17
Claw Attack 2: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16

Slurp: 1d10 ⇒ 3
Miss: 0d1 ⇒ (-) = 0
Miss: 0d1 ⇒ (-) = 0

Dang it.

Sovereign Court

Trolls...oh yes the trolls. let's just say that the trolls and puddings are defeated, that is quite the nasty encounter.

You find 4 hatches, surrounding the large snake sculpture in the middle of the room. Each is about 3' in diameter and is removed by pulling it completely out of the floor with a rearing snakehead "handle"(somewhat like the lid of a jack-o-lantern). Let's call them A,B,C,D. None are trapped

I believe you all came down hatch D. there were 3 other hatches up top as well as a door on the eastern wall down here.

Who turned Alyssa schism into a vampire

Vampire? Where?

Draws wooden stake.

I am here ... and I am hungry too any trolls or pudding left? I really like pudding especially black and white together oh and blood pudding.

What about Figgy Pudding?

*bashes the pudding*

You never know. It could have been sentient.

Who is Figgy? I guess I would eat their pudding.

"Oh goodie our AM HEALER is back.

There is plenty of troll and extra smushy pudding. ..ooh the troll meat regenerates so theoretically you'll be less hungry.

(Not unless it is an acid resistant troll).

Nasty orc takes a huge goob of pudding dipping the troll meat into it and scarfs it down.

"Hmm , kinda of yummie like those pudding bowls Mommie used to make and we dipped halfling fingers in them.

Nasty's stomach acid is five times as powerful as any acid spell. The trolls are good and gone.

I think Nasty is part otyugh.

Sovereign Court

Only the bleached one would know....

Oh where, oh where
Has my little otyugh gone?
Oh where, oh where can he be?
With his tentacles so white
And his teeth that bite,
Oh where, oh where can he be?
I think he went down
To the sewer underground
To see what he could see.
And in his mouth
Was a globe so bright
I wonder what could it be?

Hey Schism I am right here. Oh were you talking about me?

Since when does otyugh sound like nasty?
Besides, I already know where you are; right next to me killing ogres.

I’m pretty sure otyughs are always nasty.

Point!

I like smashing trolls and ogres ... trolls more because they grow back and then I can bash em again.

Oh I am hungry you have any treats Schism?

*Rummages around in handy haversack.

Only this underdark python I was saving for later.

*Throws live baby neothelid to Nasty.

"Oh boy, worms I love worms. My mom used to fry them up for me when I was young. Them was good times. She would serve them with halfling livers. "

His prehensile tongue lashes around the neothelid and swallows it whole

A big smile goes u on his face. "I once ate a purple worm each day for 15 days and I won this nifty club in a bet. " He shows his adamantine ringed club. "They didn't think I could do it. But I did."

Scarab Sages

*when last seen, was QUITE badly injured by those aforementioned trolls and slimes*

Medic! Man?? down.

So what level are we? 5th? 6th?

Sovereign Court

Level?...Oh somewhere around 8 or 9 wasn't it

Also have you read the entire adventure and know what is going on and if so could you tell me?

I've read most of it. I should probably reread the last few pages though honestly.

You’re welcome. Praise to Bashy.

Praise Bashy!

Sovereign Court

Bashy's favored weapon is an adamantium wand of CLW

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I always carry one, because no way am I wasting spells on curing people. Especially now that Bashy grants me spontaneous inflict spells.

Sovereign Court

Seems late to get that ability, I would have guessed that came online at first level

1 person marked this as a favorite.

It did, but AM HEALER could do more damage with a mace than a spell at low levels. He than promptly forgot the spell.

Sovereign Court

*An array of lighting bolts, that shine a majestic blue colour, appears and instantly kills all remaining trolls and black puddings.*

That takes care of those miscreants!

*Steps out of the shadows and stands proudly, striking the floor with his staff (which is held in his right hand).*

I hope that I'm not intruding, I just saw that all of you were in a slight spot of bother and wanted to help. If you like I can bring back all of the enemies and make them invincible if you prefer.

Well, I guess you don't need my help with the trolls then.

Cure Serious Wounds on Tvashtri.

Healing: 3d8 + 8 ⇒ (7, 8, 2) + 8 = 25

Sovereign Court

Due to the fact that I'm a 50th level character (20th Level Wizard, 20th Level Sorcerer, 10th Level Alchemist), I am not allowed to actively participate and must instead provide an advisory role and the occasional Deus Ex Machina whenever necessary. I must warn you all, the Dark Wizard Malvel, has made his way into the tomb of borrors and is plotting something terrible. He must be stopped, but it won't be easy, he has an army of beasts at his command. Have heart, brave heroes, you will need it.
