Jenny: As thr door creaks open, your blindsense tells you that you are not alone....A misty form takes a humanoid shape in front of you.

In the utter darkness you all begin to hear a chorus of voices...Ve vaunt to drink your blood

"So is it groupies or vampires?" asks trap as he reaches into his pouch....

I use sense minds on myself and am now able to psychically know where these beings are in the room. After doing so, I use energy ray(fire) on the closest. ranged touch attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 204d6 + 12 ⇒ (3, 6, 3, 6) + 12 = 30

You can drink Jenny's blood first.

*As her blood is now made of ooze, therefore acidic, that should make fast work of these bloodsuckers.*

Sovereign Court

TD: They are not groupies or goths, emo's...

Alick: One of the vamps briefly bursts into flames and screams aaaahhh...you vill pay for zat he attacks

Bite to neck: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24

Let me know if he hit you.

Err... Technically yes, but how much damage does it do? I'm fully encased in crystal, so I have a dr of like 10 right now against physical damage except bludgeoning. Also, do I get an AOO? Cause if so, I'm gonna grapple him and grow a crystal spike through his heart.

Turning to Alissa.

"So do I get to eat these guys?"

Trapdoger quickly dons his shadow boxing apparel.

Pulling a pair of magical brass knuckles out of his pouch.

He immediately goes to work striking whatever vampire he finds...

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 171d2 ⇒ 2
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 141d2 ⇒ 1
Ghost touch, disruption
DC 14 Will save or be destroyed

"Shadow boxing baby!"

Sovereign Court

Alick: You take no damage...but your crystal carapace is darker. You are feeling unmotivated. You have taken on the slacker condition.

Also I don't do actual rules like AOO, god forbid we may get moved to the real online game forum shivers

Go for the grapple, its AC is 1...uh I mean 19.

TD: Shadow boxing, is that some 3PP splatbook hoopla.
Will I live to fight on: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13...Nope, Vampy turns to dust.

Another one moves up and attacks You vill pay for zat

Neck biter: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 18

Scarab Sages

How many are there?

Tvashtri gracefully lances out with his silver staff...

+1 Silver Quarterstaff: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

...while Minimus Macabre projects a white ray at it...

disrupt undead ranged touch: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
positive energy damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3

...a trio of three ectoplasmic purple lights erupt at it from Wicked Weaver's geode-eye...

magic missile: 3d4 + 3 ⇒ (4, 3, 2) + 3 = 12

...and Agni's arms unfold and blast it with a spectacular dragon-shaped pyrotechnic.

snapdragon firework: 1d4 ⇒ 3

Count can make a DC 16 Reflex save for half damage; if they fail, they're also dazzled for 1 round.

Nope what else would one make ghost touch disruption brass knuckles for.....

Next move will be modified version of technique 35 wings of freedom, from the IKCA curriculum.....

Sovereign Court

TAK: I have no idea how many there are...probably like 1 per player

Between you and your mechanical army, you manage to damage 1

The reflex, flexflexflexflex: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14 Your vamp seems dazzled by all the stuff attacking him

*Pulls out an atomizer. Squirts herself and Bear with Holy Water.*

*Casts greater magic fang on Bear.

Get em Bear.

RAAWWWWRRRRR!!!

The Claw: 1d20 + 12 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 12 + 5 = 20 Rip: 2d6 + 12 + 5 ⇒ (5, 6) + 12 + 5 = 28
The Other Claw: 1d20 + 12 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 12 + 5 = 31 Shread: 2d6 + 12 + 5 ⇒ (4, 5) + 12 + 5 = 26
Bite: 1d20 + 10 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 10 + 5 = 32 Gnash: 1d6 + 10 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 10 + 5 = 21
If Both Claws Hit: 4d6 + 12 + 5 ⇒ (2, 3, 5, 2) + 12 + 5 = 29

Sovereign Court

Bear: Well since my 1E vampires have 40 hp. You shred the sheet out of it.

Ok so that wraps up the combat, upon searching the room besides a bunch of coffins. You find a handle for a sword that is radiating powerful necromantic energies.

OOOH Necromancy.

What kind?

Eh, who cares.... Anyone got some potato chips. Or like... Some herbs... -is being slacker'ish-

Scarab Sages

"Odd, I thought vampires were supposed to be much more formidable than that...comrades, I suggest we remain alert. In addition to the matter of the world needing more Lerts, I would guess that those were mere spawn, and a greater master vampire awaits us somewhere...."

Tvashtri then examines the sword handle.

Spellcraft: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (17) + 13 = 30

I hate vampires. Their incessant sparkling irritates me.

So why didn't you turn them.

"I didn't even get my heart rate up!"

Continues to punch at the air with his brass knuckles, jab, jab, hook, cover jab, jab, uppercut, hook.....

Ranger Alissa wrote:

Because my initiative never came up. Well, next sparkly bastard I find is getting daylight to the face.

Trap wonders if daylight is the name of the man's weapon or if he names it according to the nature of his enemy, like before he would have called it mud flinger or some such thing....

Notes to himself to never let the man give him anything to the face.....

Nasty pouts. "I did not even get to eat any of them alive."

"Oh Great devourer the next set of enemies I will do better to eat them alive."

Sovereign Court

From now on we will say combat lasts a minimum of 24 hrs. I think I got some of the slacker condition affecting Alick.

With all your combined knowledge you know this sword handle is part of a powerful evil artifact

Pshh... Evil sword. Just toss it in a volcano or something. Or let Nasty eat it. That's enough to destroy anything... -leans against a wall J and silent bob style-

"If we leave it here some idiot is sure to find it, but if we take it with us then it will certainly fall into the wrong hands."

Trap looks down at his belt pouches....

"Anyone have a portable hole, I have a pouch of holding?"

Scarab Sages

Tvashtri's tinker mind goes to work.

"...What if we joined it with the blade of a powerful artifact of Goodness? Or perhaps we could stick ostrich feathers in it and use it as a duster..."

No, I only have a pouch of holding also.

"We could take it back to the brain damaged sphinx to guard, I heard they like to guard shit."

Won't work. Sphinxes only guard entrances, not items.

We could just stick it under her and ask her not to tell anyone.

Sovereign Court

After your brutal battle with the 1E vampires, you discuss the many possibilities of what this hilt could possibly mean as you make your way back to the inverted peace sign.

The sphinx is gone... It realized that it's riddles are useless against pathfinders. You can go either north or northwest.

Ehhh... Well crap... So active volcano or Nasty's stomach it is.

Scarab Sages

It doesn't resonate in any way with my diabolical ancestry, does it?

"Maybe we're going to need the sword? Just a thought, mind you..."

Scarab Sages

Tvashtri appraises the hilt for its potential wielding by a specially-designed mechanical; if anyone could wield an Evil artifact without falling to corruption, no doubt it would be one of his beautiful clockwork children!

"I can keep it in my pouch if we might need it later."

Sovereign Court

TAK: Yes it does resonate diabolically...It has the feelng of a very ancient evil.

Scarab Sages

In case I can put a finer point on that:

Knowledge (History): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (6) + 11 = 17
Knowledge (Planes): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (11) + 11 = 22
Knowledge (Religion): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

Sovereign Court

Nothing more on the hilt, perhaps if you were to locate additional pieces of the weapon....

Lets assemble a sword we know is going to be evil instead of destroying one of the key pieces and preventing it's reconstruction. Makes sense. Maybe the blade will radiate angelic goodness, and we'll end up with the sword of ultimate neutrality.

Alick wrote:

Nasty's stomach is no good. It only disolves organic non-magical items.

"How can you all be sure the remainder of the pieces fit together to form a sword? That's just a hilt, so who knows what deranged mind crafted the full thing....."

Trap takes his chalk and draws different sword shapes on the floor, scimitar, longsword, curve blade, whip with 9 snake heads.....

Don't do that!
What if drawing a picture of the blade summons the blade?

Would a sword with nine snake head whips need lots of food? Would the snakes eat a lot of mice, and then sleep for weeks to dissolve them?

Suddenly hit with inspiration he draws a blade shaped like a lightening bolt, and then like a curved serpent....

"If it summons the blade, I wouldn't be surprised, my uncle trapfinder used to say that our family has some hidden magical talents. I have not yet discovered my special purpose, do you know something I don't?"

Sovereign Court

TD: Although your talent for art is undeniable. You do not summon a blade.

Whew!

"So should I keep the hilt in my pouch?"
