Gung-Ho Lunatic

Happy that his opponent moves towards him so carelesly the BASHA darts forward while Drawing his lucerne hammer hacking downwards aimed at froggy's weapon.

arbiter:

start rage
partial charge to D-11
Draw lucerne hammer as part of the charge
Sunder attempt 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14
damage 2d6 + 12 ⇒ (2, 2) + 12 = 16

partial charge to D-11 Sunder attempt 14(pathetic I know) damage 16.

EEP! time to roll the dice, as it were.

The frog interrupts the bum-rush by kicking sand into the air, chirping out an arcane-laden "RIBBIT!" The sand explodes forward in a rainbow cascade into the orc's eyes and threatening to scramble his brains.

Spellcraft DC 16:
It's a readied Color Spray

BASHA closing triggered Ripleys readied spell. At 15' away (C.11), make a Will save DC 16 (versus a Mind-Affecting effect) or be Blinded & Stunned for 1d4 ⇒ 3 rounds and then Stunned for 1 additional round.
.
I'll resolve your sunder after your Will save.

Gung-Ho Lunatic

Argh, you and your pesky will saves.

arbiter:

2 + 1d20 ⇒ 2 + (1) = 3

nat 1, as per usual, its not over though now you have 4 rounds to kill the BASHA, he's not helpless so no coup de grace , good luck

Gung-Ho Lunatic

One thing though. Can you ready an action? Readying takes a standard action, and you moved last round, so not sure.If you can act normaly in the surprise round just disregard that.

ZURNZAL — HP 60/65 | AC 19 CMD 26 | Fort +8 Reflex +11 Will +5 | Perception +11 Initiative +2 pre-gen sheet

Yep, this is why I was frustrated/amused to get rolled up against BASHA first… I really don' know how I'm gonna win this. Guess I'll just have to do my best.

Round 1
Ripley nervously takes aim and fires...

Arbiters:
Swift to activate Judgment of Sacred Destruction
Musket shot w/ Deadly Aim
.Musket: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
Damage: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Attack 21; Damage 4

Round 2
… draws and loads a small paper cartridge …

Round 3
… and fires a second time.

Arbiters:
Swift to activate Judgment of Sacred Destruction
Musket shot w/ Deadly Aim
.Musket: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
Damage: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Attack 13; Damage 12

Round 4
Cute eyes growing larger and rounder at the thought of the business end of the massive hammer, Ripley kicks more rainbow-color dust, emphasizing it with another arcane "RIBBT!"

I'll save us the time of giving you a spell-craft spoiler, but second verse… same as the first. BASHA needs to make a Will save DC 16 vs. Mind-Affecting illusion or be Blinded and Stunned for 1d4 ⇒ 3 rounds and then stunned for one additional round. I still have my remaining Round 4 actions, but I want to wait to use those after I see whether you make or pass your Will save.

Yep. I used a swift action to move (Quick-Runner's Shirt) and a readied standard action. :)

Gung-Ho Lunatic

Oh common,.... again?Do the durations stack?I'm not sure.I think only the longest applies but I might be wrong.

arbiter:

1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Failed again

ZURNZAL — HP 60/65 | AC 19 CMD 26 | Fort +8 Reflex +11 Will +5 | Perception +11 Initiative +2 pre-gen sheet

Yah, sorry, this is gonna have to be his schtick against you, BASHA. I'm well aware of your ability to end fights quickly and bloodily. And no, the durations don't stack, I'm just making sure you don't get to act if I can help it.

Round 5
Ripley continues his routine like a tiny amphibious sorcerer-soldier, reloading the musket ...

Round 6
BOOM

Arbiters:
BOOM
Musket: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
Damage: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Attack 16; Damage 7

Round 7
… and reloads ...

Round 8
... and,"RIBBIT!" More rainbow sand!

Surprise! Surprise! Another Color Spray on BASHA: Will save DC 16 vs. Mind-Affecting illusion or be Blinded and Stunned for 1d4 ⇒ 2 rounds and then stunned for 1 additional round. Give me your will save, and then I'll finish my actions.

Gung-Ho Lunatic

How many of those do you have?

arbiter:

1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19

Hah... 19, guess I'm going to eat another one right next but every round of you not firing is a sucess

Edit: Wait is it my turn now?

ZURNZAL — HP 60/65 | AC 19 CMD 26 | Fort +8 Reflex +11 Will +5 | Perception +11 Initiative +2 pre-gen sheet

Nope, still finishing my turn… which is upcoming

ZURNZAL — HP 60/65 | AC 19 CMD 26 | Fort +8 Reflex +11 Will +5 | Perception +11 Initiative +2 pre-gen sheet

Round 8 (cont'd)
Seeing the massive orc shake off his rainbow-sand, the frog-man gives a YIP and runs behind one of the southern pillars... out of sight.

Arbiters:
Move to K.12, using cover to Stealth
Stealth: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (10) + 12 = 22
Swift to switch to Judgment of Protection
While BASHA is still stunned, Ripley scurries off behind the pillar in J.12, attempting to hide.

Perception 22:
You see him in K.12.

Now it's your turn (in Round 8)

Gung-Ho Lunatic

BASHA takes a move action to to follow the frogmans steps right to where he dissapeared, drawing his greatsword in the process.Don't run away now froggy it was just starting to be fun.
I use my move to go straight to K- 11 if you are in K-12 or L-12 I attack with another sunder maneuver wich provokes BTW if you are in K-13 or L-13 I use the remaining 5 foot of my move to end my move in K-12 and also use another Sunder. If you are elsewhere and I can see you I use another move to end my turn adjacent to you. If I can not see you from K-11 or K-12, please tell me before I take the rest of my turn.

arbiter:

sunder 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27
damage 2d6 + 12 ⇒ (6, 6) + 12 = 24

sunder in case it applies 27 damage 24

ZURNZAL — HP 60/65 | AC 19 CMD 26 | Fort +8 Reflex +11 Will +5 | Perception +11 Initiative +2 pre-gen sheet

Ripley's in K.12, but given that he's only holding the musket, he can't take an AoO.
.
Also, I pretty much never deal with sunders. This is a regular old musket (and that Sunder attack roll was definitely successful), but I don't know what it's hardness or HP is. Do you know? I'm wondering if this musket is still useable at all.

Gung-Ho Lunatic

Sunder falls under the Damaging Object rules, according to the table your musket would have hardness 5 and 5 hitpoints(as I believe it falls under projectile weapons) unless its magical +1 in wich case hardness and hitpoints would increase.Since you said it's normal that would mean it's destroyed, you can't use it anymore.

Hardness and hitpoint tables can be found here

ZURNZAL — HP 60/65 | AC 19 CMD 26 | Fort +8 Reflex +11 Will +5 | Perception +11 Initiative +2 pre-gen sheet

Works for me.
Round 9

The orc's hammer brutally crushes the musket into the dirt, and the frog looks from it to BASHA's face with sheer terror.

"CROAK!" it screams quickly before bolting away, turning, and—once more—kicking more rainbow sand at the orc. "RIBBIT!"

Arbiters:
Swift to cast Litany of Sloth, meaning no AoO for BASHA.
Then move to J.14
Then cast Color Spray at BASHA
Ripley casts a swift-action spell (which makes you unable to make AoO's), then he moves back to J.14. Then, once again, he casts Color Spray.
.
Make another Will Save DC 16 vs. a Mind-affecting illusion or be blinded and stunned for 1d4 ⇒ 2 rounds plus stunned for 1 additional round.
.
If you make the save, you're up.

Gung-Ho Lunatic

Do you even have any method of defending yourself now?

arbiter:

1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
move to K-14
ack the frog 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29
damagen 2d6 + 12 ⇒ (4, 5) + 12 = 21

Crit confirmation 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20
damage 2d6 + 12 ⇒ (5, 2) + 12 = 19

will save 17
.......with cruel laughter the BASHA follows the the little miscreant to deliver the final blow.
move to K-14 and attack 29 damage 21 , this is a critical threat
Crit confirmation 20 additional damage 19.

ZURNZAL — HP 60/65 | AC 19 CMD 26 | Fort +8 Reflex +11 Will +5 | Perception +11 Initiative +2 pre-gen sheet

With a sickening squelching sound, the frog is pink mist.

GG… I was pretty sure some version of this would happen.
.
Also, your attack was a success either way, but what are you wielding? Or what ability do you have that makes me flat-footed if I'm unarmed? Catch OffGuard?

Gung-Ho Lunatic

No, that was a mistake I made there, sorry. GG to you too, thought it was over when that first color spray hit me but the need to reload was Ripleys doom.:)

ZURNZAL — HP 60/65 | AC 19 CMD 26 | Fort +8 Reflex +11 Will +5 | Perception +11 Initiative +2 pre-gen sheet

Yep. It's kind of a fun build, but its got no real closing power.

VICTORY TO BASHA!

Wins: 2, Loses: 2, Ties: 0; Fame: 8

So, are we ready for Apprentice versus Sariras?

Wins: 2, Loses: 2, Ties: 0; Fame: 8

Just in case...

The Honorable Apprentice of the East Wind enters the arena at A10 and readies himself for what is to come.

Arbiter:
Initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13

Initiative 13
