From Chaotic Neutral to True Neutral - A druid's path in Kingmaker

Advice

Hello guys!!! First, a warning: I'm trying to make this post player-friendly, but there may be mini spoilers.

I'm currently playing a druid in Kingmaker (Elanna and Amra, her lioness :3 ), devoted to Erastil. She had a good reason to join the rest of the adventurers in first place: their orders were to eliminate the bandits, and she knew these guys were doing some serious damage to the lands (which was confirmed later when she found out about

Spoiler:
the dead unicorn).

Anyways, this is what concerns me now: as far as we now, most of the bandits are dead, so why she would stay in this new city? And why in hell she would choose to even be part of its Council? Maybe she opted for the "lesser evil", and would feel better if she could keep an eye on the region? And having power to decide, she could influence the fate of these lands? I know Erastil it's not a "vegan" god, he just doesn't wont innecessary cruelty, and he's not entirely opposed to human settlements, but still. Is it pushing too far?

Thanks in advanced!!

Nyn

A Chaotic Druid dedicated to Erastil is an interesting choice, since Erastil is Lawful Good... He actually really likes humans and the like, just not big cities so much.

*POSSIBLE SPOILERISH INFO*
There are lots of reasons to stay. As the adventure goes on, you will come across lots of animals that have gone crazy or the like. And when you find out what is causing all of it, including that spoiler, I would think that a druid would want to 'fix' the problem to bring nature back to normal.

Maybe your character is just whimsical like that? Maybe she feels that she should stay but doesn't quite know why? It's easy to forget that characters are people too, and they don't always have to make perfect sense. Maybe there's a palpable sense that your work here is not finished. What was she doing before she met up with the party? Is there any overriding need to keep wandering in the woods? Maybe she feels beholden to the area; after all, there was a unicorn hanging out there, and that should count for something. Perhaps she could take on the region as her territory, appointing herself its druidic protector.

Yes, I was thinking about something like that, maybe she feels she should stay around as a warden to these lands, at least until she feels the place will be safe, and nothing like that will ever happen again. Before joining the party, she used to be some sort of wanderer, only visiting grandma once in a while. She found Amra being a pup, alone in the plains after some hunters killed her mother for fun. So, she really doesn't have any reason to leave, since grandma is moving to town.

Thank you a lot guys, you helped me find the destiny for Elanna and Amra. =)
