Calistrian revenge

Advice

Hello, i would like some input here i seem to be stuck in the midst of a climax in my campaign. (not on this site) but advice would be appreciated. ill paint you somewhat of a picture-

2 of my characters have opposing faiths. the brother worships asmodius, and his sister calistria. the most recent 'jobs' they have been set out on in the name of their churches have intertwined in a bad way. The brother has been given a list of women to murder as 'the pale kiss' with his inquisitors blessing as they all have wronged the church of asmodius or know to much. His sister had no idea that her brother was 'the pale kiss' until she was sent out to kill him and knocked off the mask he had been given to wear while murdering. He then tried to kill her and she just barley got away. She now needs to get awesome revenge without actually killing him herself. (other plans for that)

what has your characters best calistrian revenge been? id just like to see if i can get any ideas.
any help developing a good plan would be greatly appreciated!

What levels are these characters?

If the Pale Kiss is known by his mask, she could get a similar mask and do Good (or at least non-Lawful) under the same guise.

Ahh, good idea. Assuming the Azmodeans know he is 'the Pale Kiss', the sister can disguise herself as this mysterious individual and do some deeds to counter Azmodean interests. Properly done (and tracks covered, correct evidence left, etc.) and they'll think he's turned against them and he'll become a targer for them (since he certainly knows too much and has allegedly wronged the church). Just be make sure the disguise includes protections from magical means of detection and determining the truth from the evidence left behind.

Or have her start attacking the brother's superiors, the ones who gave him the kill orders, while wearing the mask.

Another thing would be to ensure that whatever information the killings are meant to hide comes out in a way that most humiliates the brother and his superiors.

It might also be appropriate to find some way to raise the women from the dead while tricking the brother and his superiors to pay for it.

However you manage it, the best revenge that doesn't involve the risk of killing her brother is to make sure that all the effort put into the murders is completely wasted, and even turns out to be a detriment.

they are currently level 6, and will be working up in the ranks as it plays out maybe one or two levels higher at most

(they are also being forced to work together to rid westcrown of the shadow monsters since the brother gave a verbal promise, 'contact', to a man before he died that he would get to the bottom of that) that will come first. and when thats done the plan is to have him go all out and get her to recant for 'her' sins and killed.

Silver Crusade

Sounds like a really fun campaign.

yes! these are all great ideas =] i will look into the victims and see about ways to expose each 'wrong doing'

(one of the higher ranking church men was sleeping with a prostitute in a business that was being run unlawfully) so there is a start.. thanks for the ideas! ill see what i can make of it and post what i come up with later on.. i want to make sure its just as menacing as his murder spree was.
