Helping put together a convention is hard work. Hard, exhausting work.

But it's one of the few times each year I get to interact in person with other gamers and fans of Pathfinder/Paizo in particular. It is a very rewarding experience to see everyone playing games, talking to everyone, and generally having a good time.

So, in all seriousness, thank you all for coming to PaizoCon.

And a special thank you to the people in my "How to Paint Bones" workshop, I enjoyed teaching you.

And thank you to the six guys in my "Rules Experimentation" game, I appreciate your feedback and the fun times of spider-riding goblins and the jaunty wave of the "spoul."

And thank you to everyone who attended the monster design panel, the Pathfinder RPG Q&A panel, and the Mythic Adventures panel—good groups, good questions.

And thank you to the people at my table at the banquet—Robert and Dave, Cheapy, and "Team Winnipeg." :)

And thank you to the people at my "Making Molds" workshop, that was fun, even though there were a couple of rough spots, thanks for bearing with me.

And thank you to everyone who enjoyed the PaizoCon delve. It seemed to go over well, which means we'll probably want to do it next year. :)

And thank you to everyone who bought Jodi's goblin hats, she worked overtime the last few days before the con to get those made.

And thank you to everyone who I chatted with.

And thank you to everyone at the minis swap in the bar on Sunday afternoon. Good trades. :)

And thank you to Carl and Dave for letting us borrow the car.

And thanks to all who hailed Mike Brock. :)

See you next year!

Thanks for the fun delve, Sean!

Sean- thanks for taking the time away from your minis-swapping to chat with my son about how you got into the gaming biz. He left with a much clearer picture of how things work, and might actually start writing some of his ideas down instead of just talking my ear off about each one before he moves to the next!

Thanks to Bill Webb and Gary McBride for two really one-of-a-kind games. It's really nice to get a session that completely represents its RPG's style, and these two GMs definitely pull that off for, respectively, Swords & Wizardry and Grimm. Oh, and thanks to the GM of the Thule game--name badges were small and I never caught your name, but it was a lot of fun to play a game in the making.

Thanks to Gary Teter for making my pointless uphill sprint from the Hilton to place a spare event card on a missing corkboard not-pointless. Sorry if that "I've failed to avoid you" joke was confusing--it was meant as a reference to my joking about doing my best to avoid you for the last three years, but I was in a hurry. It was great to finally shake hands with the Postmonster General!

Thanks to the awesome people who greeted me, and sorry if I wasn't especially talkative--not only am I a bit socially awkward, I was likely spending half the conversation trying to read the tiny names on your badges. I'm bad at faces and good at names. I'm pretty sure I ran into the Eldritch Mister Shiny once again, but I couldn't see his badge to be sure. If I'm right, it was great to say hi! It seems to be a Paizocon tradition for us to bump into each other--three years, three meetings. If I'm wrong, sorry to whoever I actually met and sorry to EMS for the confusion. ;D

Thanks to the Wayfinder chaps on another awesome job and sorry for accidentally taking two Wayfinders. It's been weighing on my conscience ever since I realized my sister and I both got copies, since I know you guys had limited supply. I seem to be subconsciously determined to sabotage you guys. Still, great work!

Thanks to the staff for making everything run so great! Hearing how well things went here makes me feel a bit sorry I was so busy at Everfree Northwest on day one.

Finally, thanks to the assorted cast of congoers who paused to see if they'd seen my dice. This seemed to be a "lost items" con for me. Still, I only left missing a d20 and a plush Cthulhu. Coulda been worse!

Thanks for the kind words! They are greatly appreciated. Grimm is a fairly awesome little system. Such a shame that it is out of print and so hard to find these days.

This was another great PaizoCon and I want to thank all the folks for the the great work they did. For all those that are on the fence about going, YOU SHOULD GO especially to all interested breaking in the 3PP industry! And thanks to SKR for always being a great guy to talk to.

Scarab Sages

Thank you all for an amazing first Paizocon!!! I am already making plans for next year and hope to meet more people.

Goblin hats! I got two. :)

Thanks Sean I had fun in the how to paint bones and the Mythic seminar. It was a great first Paizocon and am hoping and planning for next years paizocon.

Sovereign Court

Great tips at the Bones painting workshop (even for a late arrival). Thanks for the insights Sean. Hopefully I will have something to enter in the mini painting contest next year if you put it together.

Additional thanks to the folks at the table I ran and the GMs at the tables I played at.

Many thanks to the "crew" for managing to meet up for a second year of some great off hours game play (El-El, mearrin69, lolrobots, Pat Luther and Myrkrel) as well as the new folks who joined in the Star Trek and Firefly games (JakeInTheGrass, Bonnie and the two guys who joined in via lolrobots and whose names which I am now spacing on ... y'all fit right into the roles in the Star Trek and Firefly games and made the games better for it). Hope to see you all again next year!

More thanks to the folks who came to the Wayfinder panel. That was definitely a fun experience.

Thanks to Paizo and all of the Paizo staff for continuing to put together what is certainly my favorite Con.

There are not enough thanks to go to Big Kyle for putting together the Meet and Eat. That was truly amazing, Kyle.

Many thanks to the hotel staff for being extremely helpful and accommodating.

And finally, thanks to all the PaizoCon attendees. Every year I end up meeting more cool folks when I head to Seattle and this year was no exception. :)

Thank you Sean for the Bones class, I really enjoyed it! Also hanging out with you and Jodi at the banquet was great. Also a big thanks to Jodi for the goblin hats, I got one! Had to.

Also a big thanks to Kyle for the meet and eat, that was great!

Oh, and the people who taught the GM 101 and 201 classes on Saturday? That was a lot of fun, and ended up being a great way to spend my whole day!

Also the Swords and Wizardry game on Sunday was a lot of fun!

Finally everyone I had a chance to meet and chat with a bit, thank you.

This was my first Paizocon, and it won't be my last. I had a lot of fun!

Thank you, too, Sean for all the conversation.

Our paths didn't cross all that often, Sean, but it's good to know you were having a great time at the same time I was having a great time. :-)

Also, thanks to everyone who played in "The Foehammer Promise"...my all-dwarf Pathfinder game. There was some really great roleplaying at the table, and I was impressed by how quickly everyone got into character and their enthusiasm for taking the Test of the Crown to determine the new leader of the Foehammer Clan. All hail Lady Foehammer! And defend her from the nasty, spore-ridden vegepygmies which overran her father's tomb.

Lastly, thanks to everyone who wandered by...or stopped by...to chat and/or offer feedback or comments on the things I've written or done for Paizo. It's cool to hear people still discussing RPG Superstar, the Fellnight Queen, and the various AP chapters I've contributed to over the past few years.

I can't wait to be there again next year. And, for those of you headed to GenCon, maybe out paths will cross again sooner than that.

Thank you for the many nods of acknowledgement, even though we didn't sit down to talk this year. I appreciate the recognition and the acknowledgement as someone you recognize. I'm sure we will chat again another year.

I also had a ton of fun playing Grimm. And remember- carbs, bro. We're adventuring tomorrow.

Ever tried skydiving? Skydiving's a lot of fun. I think you should try it right now.

Assuming you played the Popular Kid and aren't just referencing her, way to go. That brat was one of the funniest parts of the game. XD

Well, you are one of the more recognizable attendees. :)

This was my first PaizoCon, and really my first big con ever. I have to say, it was great! Thanks to all the staff for making it such an experience, and all the guys up in Bellingham that convinced me to go :)

I had a great time with the new We Be Goblins scenario. Great job writing and running is Krystal (assuming I understand that correctly)!! The special was thrilling, I can't image what it'll be like at GenCon. And thanks to the other GMs running scenarios (perhaps next year I'll try my hand at the other side of the screen)! Jester did a great job running Day of the Demon for us! And the guy who ran my Rivalry's End table: excellent! The delve was also pretty fun and quick! Much thanks to all for the great time :D

I enjoyed getting to know you at the restaurant on Sunday. That's for letting this insignificant mortal bask in the knowledge of the great gaming "gods"!
