Osirion would also time with and align nicely with the next AP.
But you probably already knew that ;D

I bet there's more than a few ideas in this thread, which people didn't get round to fleshing out, which could still work for Osirion.
We've been in the frozen north at least twice, so I can't see that being an option.
What other areas need some love?
What about the other continents, that were opened up in recent APs?
We haven't had a Tian issue, or Vudran.
What about off-planet entirely?

While personally I have little inspiration for the desert and would prefer a new region, I can see the benefit of a double visit to the dry and dust. Especially with the Mummy's Mask coming as Anthony Adam pointed out.
I'm just biding my time for the Numeria issue of Wayfinder. I have a feeling that may be a bumper issue...

Deserts aren't exactly inspiring to me as well... I had some Jistka-based idea but I put it on hold when I found that Jistkans never reached Katapesh region.
Another idea that I scrapped was an attempt to smuggle in some Distant World's NPCs...

No more frozen Northlands issues anytime soon.
I have pretty much picked the next issue's theme. I don't want to announce it this soon, though.
Well, actually, I do, but I very much enjoy seeing if the fan community can follow along on my lines of thinking, so I will probably start dropping hints over the next month...
So, when picking a theme, I need to consider a variety of things. First and foremost is Paizo's release schedule. What do they have in the pipe, and when will it be released? I hear a lot of Osirion wishes for #11. However, let's look back to #6, when I was greatly excited to do Lands of the Linnorm Kings as a theme. I set that up to coincide with the Jade Regent AP, specifically with those issues crossing over through the LotLK.
Problem: the supplement, which was to be the seed that got people excited and gave them lots to write about...was delayed. It didn't come out until late September, a mere week or two before the deadline for submissions.
So, Paizo has a LOT of Osirion goodness coming to the campaign setting. I would rather see that material released, and in the fans' hands for a good period of time before asking the fan community to give us more Osirion material. That reduces the risk of fans coming up with something that Paizo already developed, as well as reducing the risk of a sheer overload of Osirion stuff.
Instead, I like to go back, and look at the products and the AP that Paizo has already given us, and consider which ones are now collecting dust. An AP that is now "old" and out of the spotlight, and is no longer capturing the fans' attentions, or is now relatively unknown or unrealized to new Pathfinder fans is a PRIME candidate for an issue theme.
Also, I look at everything Wayfinder HAS covered. I don't want to do too many repeats. So far, we've addressed the North Lands (#2, #6, and part of #8), Varisia (in parts of #1, #5, and #7), the Mwangi Expanse (#4), Absalom (#3), Seas and Coasts of Avistan (#8), and the Darklands (#9).
So, the question is now....what Pathfinder AP and area needs some much needed love for #11?

North Lands: Kingmaker, Reign of Winter, part of Jade Regent--check.
Varisia: RotRL, CotCT, Shattered Star--check.Seas and Coasts: Skull&Shackles, part of Serpent's Skull--check.
Mwangi: Serpent's Skull--check.
Darklands: Second Darkness--check.
Desert: Legacy of Fire--check.
Looking at the older APs (covering dust) leaves us with: CoT, Jade Regent, CC.
Jade Regent's destination Tian Xia would be worth a second glance but: once burnt, twice shy? For me, Paizo has released too few material on that region and the Asian theme might prove to exotic for most.
CoT, set in Cheliax, focussing on a city environment, Hellknights, DEVILS... tempting (no, wait, that's the demons...).
CC: classic horror (vampires, werewolves) set in Golarion, Tar Baphon statted up, Ustalav it is!

Kingmaker would really be more in tune with the River Kingdoms, not the North Lands ... and the River Kingdoms could be a cool area to cover.
That's true. My deduction might be heavily influenced by the fact that my books have been used up until a couple weeks ago since I GMed KM and my PCs constantly complained about the bad weather with long winters and almost non-existant/cold&rainy summers. Also: look at the number of threats in the subforum (RotRL is cheating due to raise AP!). The River Kingdoms would be realy cool, though!

The support material for Wrath of the Righteous has not really gone into much detail about Mendev - I'd say that could make a nice project for the community to flesh out more with details about various crusader orders, dastardly low templar NPCs, adding to the keeps and guard towers watching the border with the Worldwound, and so on.
Edited to add: And for the rules-minded, it'd be an excellent excuse to make some homemade Mythic material of their own.

Actually, Wayfinder #5 was the Harrowed lands, which are Varisia, Hold of Belkzen, and Ustalav. There wasn't a lot of Ustalav in there though....
Looking at all the guesses, I see that one of the posts was correct....

Mine, by saying that it won't be Geb/Nex? :P

But wouldn't that be another northern land themed region?

This particular AP is not really collecting dust on a shelf, either.
Dang it, the anticipation is killing me...

Cheliax maybe? There's enough published already in the Paizo lines for plenty of ideas and hooks for us. My (prospective) critters won't work there though, hmmm... must think of something(s) else.

While I'd be totally ok with the River Kingdoms since the whole micro cosmos this region represents appeals to me I don't know if all the 3pp material published for the River Kingdoms might prove detrimental.
Also: do we take Tim literally? He wrote one post was correct...
Cheliax, Geb/Nex and RK all had several mentions before he made his post.
sigh

I am hoping Cheliax, though the nex/geb would be awesome, since I'm a sucker for undead.
My issue 10 submission was to be a 2 part story, so I am beyond filled with anxiety if I made the cut.
And I saw some chatter earlier, but over at PFC, we write a lot. Come check us out! http://pathfinderchronicler.net/

I'd love a Geb & Nex Wayfinder issue, but there really isn't a lot of info on them compared to other areas.
We need to Kickstart a project to have Venture Labs clone another Mona.
And another Jacobs... and Sutter and Schneider... and a half-dozen Daigles and a ninja-clan's worth of Liliths...
That might be an adventure hook for a Numeria cloneapalooza mini-adventure for Wayfinder #14 or #15, or a weird clone Weal and clone Woe article.
