Ok, had a thought talking about Re-GM credit...

Is it ethical to put (high tier) GM credit on a PC, then run that PC at a table with the scenario.

Ignoring the obvious silliness of say, having <redacted> as your familiar when you encounter him in <redacted> (though a good GM could have fun with them arguing over which is the real one) I was wondering, especially if you GM first.

For example, I applied Nightmarch to Ksenia, because she was at a level to get the better disposable boon. I almost forgot and played her at the lower table, but remembered and played my Shoanti sorcerer instead.

*Could* I have played her at the table? No not for getting two sheets, but because I wanted to RP some of the interactions. Nightmarch is a bad example, but an example I don't qualify for would be Blackros Matrimony.

At this point I'm not even worried if I 'ate' the player chronicle doing that.

Mostly the answer is no. You can never get credit twice for the same character.

Also, if you put the credit for a scenario on a character it is applied as soon as possible. (Ex. You have a 1st level character and run "The Icebound Outpost" your character gets subtier 1-2 regardless of what subtier you GM'ed.) Conversely if you were to put the credit on a 5th level character it would get the higher subtier rewards even if you GM'ed the adventure at the lower tier.

Thanks Todd.

I knew the tier bit. Ksenia was 4th level when I applied the GM boon, but the table at ORigins was going to play down, even Ksenia wouldn't have bumped the tier up :-)
