The Title says it all. I have been told both ways and would like a specific ruling on this if possible.

Wrong forum. But the answer is a clear no.

Organized Play guide p. 8, Feats section, states that any feat outside the Core Rulebook (not "Core Assumption", Core Rulebook) must be on the additional resources list.

Additional resources, Bestiary, feats heading:

Quote:
none of the feats are legal for play for PCs, animal companions, or familiars unless specifically granted by another legal source.

...and we see here that I was partially wrong; the answer is still no, but it's not at all clear, because the text doesn't mention Eidolons.

However, the additional resources is a whitelist, not a blacklist. Everything not permitted is forbidden. OrgPlay p. 8:

Quote:
]Paizo.com/pathf indersociety/additionalResources contains a book-by-book listing of all campaign-legal feat choices beyond the Core Rulebook. Check there before taking any feats from a non-Core Rulebook source.

The text does not allow you or your eidolon to take feats from the Bestiary, and thus you can't. The mention of companions and familiars are an artefact of summoners not existing when the Bestiary was added to the list.

This seems conclusive, and was my first argument as well. However, in the advanced player's guide it is stated that Eidolon may take any feat they qualify for, so long as they possess the physical capabilities to perform the feat. The question is, does that statement qualify as an explicit permission to take bestiary feats?

No. PFS rules tell you what other rules you can use. If the exception isn't in the PFS rules, you can't do it.

No, it doesn't. PFS specifically limits what can be used from each individual book, and a general statement in another book doesn't supercede that.

Just like if the eidolon was qualified to take one of the other feats that aren't legal for PFS (there are several non-legal feats in both Ultimate Combat and Ultimate Magic). That statement doesn't allow the eidolon to take those feats, either.
