20 Point Build, Any Alignment within reason, 2 Traits or 3 Traits + Drawback, One Trait must be a Campaign Trait from the RotR Player's Guide, Average Starting Gold for your Class
Emphasis mine.
Since I did post might as well put something more to it.
There seems to be some talk about concepts among possible players even if not actual recruit thread. Right now I am thinking about Aegis half-giant with some tricks with size(powerful build+Wild talent(Expansion)) Still working on the backstory and personality even if I have the basics down.
On the campaign change stuff, could go with that certain unsavory things(or just some special requirement in general) are required to unlock the magic or to keep purely in psionics(probably preferred) unlock certain powers.(the ones needed to make the world work.) Just a random suggestion.
On the healing front actually now that I think about it psionics have some serious problems on that front apart from self healing. Even with Vitalist. "magic" items might be a big thing to deal with the issue.
The balanced party thing, not really a problem imho. You just need to adjust tactics to suit the party. Of coarse there is a limit on that.
BTW I was about to begin RotR once but the campaign never saw the light of day. So I got some stuff from old memory, just asking if on the setting/fluff stuff has had any major changes in the players quide I should be paying special attention to?

Thanks, somehow I missed the average gold part :P
I am very aware that this is only an intrest check. The thing is a recruitment thread usually follows so I might as well get something for that built up. It has also been my experience that those who are more 'involved' have a greater chance of making it into the campaign as you work back and forth with the GM and he gets excited to see your guy inside his world.
Shrug.
Just how I see things going, I also figure that there is no harm in creating the character, its another form of fun on its own :)

I was thinking something similar except with a psychic warrior with a trick up his sleeve.
Also, why does nobody want to play a psychic warrior?? It seems like the only one that hasn't been covered so far.

I don't mind people using this thread to talk about concepts lol. In fact I'd rather it be here than in the recruitment thread I'm going to get up soonish. Leave that thread for business, this for discussion :P
Btw, you all can thank Tie My Shoelace for giving me the idea of Half-Giant Titan Mauler Barbarians using Huge Weapons. You'll be encountering those sometime in the campaign, as it would be wrong not to include half giants in a campaign that heavily features giants. Cheers. ;)

Huh. Didn't think I'd see that, Wahrheit.
@Crusty, is there any verdict on the warslinger trait working with Halfling Sling-Staves? There are other ways I could make the character work, but they would also require house-rules. Unfortunately, there's very little support for the Sling Staff, even in the book it came in, and Rapid Reload only works with Crossbows and Firearms.

Going for main stick being just beat untill dead mainly, with the expansion allowing for being a good roadblock. I reckon most fans of the psychic stuff were fans of it in 3.5 so the ones that would find it something to play have allready done so at one point so the Dreamscarred stuff seems more appealing because of freshness. Oh and btw if you are interested in collabirating some joined backstory feel free to shoot a PM my way.

Psychic Warrior is fun and all, though I've never played one. I've never made a slinger, though, and I've also wanted to check out Marksman for a while.
There is always this archetype for the marksman ...

I saw that, but it's gun-focused, and I don't really want to make a gunner of any sort.
Also, small thing. You can hyperlink things by using [ url=http://www.d20pfsrd.com/psionics-unleashed/classes/marksman/archetypes/dreamscarred-press/kaigun]Whatever you want it to say[/url], but without the space in the beginning tag.

what type if any firearms will be allowed? if you would like input- ive been working on a setting of my own where magic doesn't exist. the world has mechanical tech such as trains, airships, firearms. no energy tech. kind of a steampunk wild west with monk temples that teach very select individuals psionics. I think they mesh well without magic in the equation

Emerging Firearms will be the rule, Jimi. So you'll basically have to make your own if you want them.
Also, you in particular should check this out:Zeitgeist. It's a steampunk fantasy world, and the guy hosting it (I'm in a RoW game with him) is allowing Psionics and firearms are more common, though Psionic entries are being held to a higher standard. I'm making a character for it in fact XD. Once I get the recruitment thread up, at least.
I'm working on that right now.

Crusty, will you allow an android? By the sounds of it, it should be more like cyborg.
And this is the name of the character I will be using.
~Anderlorn
If an Android is too powerful, I can remove Nanite surge and Lowlight Vision (-4 RP), or Nanite Surge and Darkvision (-5) RP.

It's been a few hours, give the DM time. I doubt the problem, if there is one, will be mechanical, so much as flavorful, with Android.
I have a questionregarding traits. I'm trying to convert a character that I played for a brief time in a RotRL campaign to a marksman, and the campaign trait I used at the time was Outlander(Exile), which is, if I remember correctly, available in the APG, or here, on the PFSRD. It's not technically a campaign trait for RotRL, but it is a campaign trait for a campaign that was set in Sandpoint, and has been used by a few of my DMs in the past for it.
Cruven Tallcrippler's original backstory was, put shortly, that of a former slave, working for the Bellflower Society, and stationed out of Kintargo, both causing some small havoc and escorting slaves on outbound ships, destined for Varisia, specifically Magnimar. After getting overzealous, Cruven needed to lay low for a while, and sets out from Magnimar with a small sum of money allotted to him for the time being. Finding himself in Sandpoint, both his luck and money having run out, he starts doing odd jobs, and potentially putting his skills to good use.
I was looking at Lovestruck as a potential drawback, and though I have no say in the matter of picking who the love interest is (provided I'm selected to begin with), it could be reasonable to have it be one of the slaves I'd've escorted, or perhaps a halfling NPC/PC, if there are any others.
Regarding Traits, I was looking at Outlander(exile) above, Successful Shirker, and Bellflower Tiller, which, for whatever reason, is no longer available on d20pfsrd.

This is a generic post being sent to everyone that I am currently playing with
Hey everyone. This is Gobo Horde here. Due to the flooding happening here in Calgary and me supposedly going on vacation (which may or may not happen :P) my posting for this next week might be sporadic and lighter than normal. Sorry for it, but such is life :) If you need to, feel free to take control of me and I will pop in when I can.
Thanks ^-^

Here it be at last! I wish to apologize for my lack of communication lately. My Skull and Shackles campaign is somewhat going bust due to various reasons (I'm not sure if its my DMing or the fact that numerous people are busy, with one dropping out), and as a result I've been feeling kinda bummed out and iffy about my Dming skill, in case that is the issue. But, as a Xeph would say, live and learn! So, I tried to cheer myself up by finally finishing the Psionic recruitment thread and by looking forward to seeing what everyone makes.
