True World Map and Casmaron

The Exchange

Guys, I love what has been done so far with the Inner Sea books. However, there is so much of the world that still needs fleshed out. Is there an ETA as to when you will have Casmaron mapped out and then the remaining 6 continents? I am a DM that likes to have a basic framework for a world fleshed out and then add his twist to it. I don't have the time I would like to create one from scratch like I used to.

Please keep up the great work!

Hi Ric,

Everything I've seen lately from Paizo seems to point to the fact that they are pretty focused on the Inner Sea Region for the foreseeable future. Look for announcements during PaizoCon and GenCon for what they'll be doing next year, however! Also, anytime they've gone beyond this core region, it's been as part of an Adventure Path (Iobaria in Casmaron during "Kingmaker" and of course Tian Xia for "Jade Regent"), so my guess is stay tuned for announcement of upcoming APs!

I know the basic shape of the continents, and an even more basic (and deliberately inaccurate) world map showing the rough shapes and rough positions of them appears in the Inner Sea World Guide...

...I even have a globe on my desk—AKA a blue beach ball with the continents drawn on there in ink...

...but the time is not yet right to reveal more about the world itself. Someday... but not this year. And probably not the next.

I still think this is a cool idea. LOL

I wonder how well a "beach ball" globe of Golarion would sell.

Here is a fan made map of Golarion

This is what I am using in my home campaigns until Paizo publishes materiel.

I think the Casmaron-revealing AP should be about a marauding army over cyclopes invading Avistan, and tracking it back to its source.

Set it up as a major force in Inner Sea history, not unlike the Mongol invasions of Europe. But you know, cyclopes.

Ibdylos is a part of Casmaron, right? How would a Greek Mythology-inspired module go? The Twelve Labours of the PCs?
...but if I make up an Oracle from there (especially an Enlightened Philosopher), I'll make sure he's got Neutralize Poison.
