Dude hats off, this is one hell of an offering and has some amazing art. You've successfully whetted my appetite until Bestiary 4 and blood of the moon hit and I'm already trying to think of ways to make a skinwalker brave.
Just posted a review and hope you do more of this. Also hats off to your art guy, those images were perfect and look amazing on my Nook.

Hey guys, thanks SO much for the kind words about HoW.
I personally LOVE this book (it's one of my favorite one's I've written... don't tell Necropunk) and the concepts we got to explore with it.
We are actually from Arizona (at least 90% of us) and this was topic near and dear to our hearts. A lot of research went into the book (special thanks to the Heard Museum) and we are really glad you guys enjoyed it so much.
We could defiantly work on something in the future. We like exploring a lot of different cultures though and giving them the same treatment and attention as the Native American and western american cultures we got to do in this book. We did China, Japan, Korea, and a bit of India in our Heroes of the East line. We are now doing our "Dragon Tiger Ox" Kickstarter to do this kind of things with ancient China in particular. We'd love to do something set in a Salvic/Russian area or maybe something set in on Africa. A Greek or Egyptian (though we did the medjay base class) setting would be a lot of fun too.
That having been said, I still think there is a lot of material we DIDN'T cover in HoW and it's now on our list of "things people want us to make so let's get on that".
Doc the Grey, that you SO much for your review. Reviews like that vindicate us of any misgivings we had about taking a risk on subject matter so far removed from what people typically do and it validates the concepts for others. I really hope a lot of folks get their hands on this book (maybe a sale?).
You might also like the book Tome of Munitions II. It has a lot of grit based classes that draw from the same kind of wellspring (though they are not specifically native american and/or western).

*cough*I want to do greece really badly*cough, cough*
*cough* Yes, and Slavic, More Americas, Russian, Egyptian, and African in that order (well you can flip around the first two).*cough*
But yes I love books on cultures that don't get much development in the system and if you can bring this level of demse detail to them then power to you. I at least am getting sick of western europe post rome saturating the market and feel more variety adds to the game rather the detracts.
I'm already praying for a Brave player in my next game or a orc hunting conquistador.

I've got chills, they're multiplying
And I'm losing controlCause the power you're supplying, it's electrifying.
You better shape up, cause I need a man
and my heart is set on you
You better shape up, you'd better understand
to my heart I must be true
Nothing left, nothing left for me to do.
You're the one that I want
Ooh, ooh, ooh
The one that I want
Ooh, ooh, ooh
The one that I want

Ohh also quick question man. Is there supposed to be a feat that allows you to finesse a macquihtal or some way in which a jaguar warrior can finesse the weapon? Seems like the night slash ability is meant to build off using one in tandem with it.
Alas no. We specifically did not because we didn't want the class to become a 1 stat pony (i.e you can't totally ignore Strength).
@Kajehase:
I know a few people over at LRGG that would be unbelievably excited to do a Greek supplement.
Also, as a general update we added Brave to the list of classes getting some love in the "Tome of Tomes" book we are currently working on. It is a little section, but it should afford them a few new things.

Cool! Ohh I also saw mention of a crow totem in the totem discription, is that something that was cut from editing or just a typo?

I also want Mythic +10 to do a product on Greece. Maybe you guys can throw in some additional rules for KoR to tie in with it, like Pankration and Greco-Roman wrestling.
You'll be very happy to know that we have a small greek book in the works. Should be about 10-15 pages. Kind of a "campaign inspiration" like Equinox, Of Angels and Demons, and A Land Out of Time.
It has a few new races, a half god template, the 12 Olympians as deities (domains, favored weapons, etc), some new weapons and armor, an extensive section on running a Greek style campaign, and an archetype or two.
Not sure on a release date. But it's in the works.

Cool. Anyway we will be seeing any more american west stuff put to print in the near future?
Also do you have any good references for sources on native american societies in the great plains regions you could recommend?
Also thanks again for the book, I now have a bearkin skinwalker player in my next game and I am soo excited.
