They're Space Marines.
Think about it:
- They zealously follow a strict religious code.
- They're known for distinctive armor that's unique to each order.
- Each order has unique skills they use to accomplish a particular duty within their code.
- There's a distinction between normal fighters and casters.
- And they operate autonomously from the government that created them but are still loyal to it.

I could totally see that. And to hell with Games Workshop! I've been gouged by them for almost a decade! They can take their ridiculously over-priced models and shove them up their....

I told them to send the Necron lawyer instead. Those guys have all passed the Eoxian bar, which is apparently a licence to practice law throughout the solar system (excepting Aucturn, where laws both artificial and natural are suspended or ignored).
But they said, "no, the Chaos Space Marine legal team is so good they turn a profit each year," and I said, "you ever hear of Universal Studios v. Nintendo? Just because you're in-house law firm is full of murderous heretics doesn't mean that you'll win the case."
Then they slathered me in a coat of Ork Dung Yellow(TM) and threw me into the Warp.
It's been a long time dilation, I'll tell you what.
