Questions about lite pdfs

Shadow Lodge

Are there any plans to release lite versions of the campaign setting paperbacks in the near future?

Making Lite PDFs takes a lot of work, as page backgrounds need to be redesigned, so we only do those for large products (256+ pages). Most modern devices don't have much of a problem with 64- or 96-page books.

Ahh. Well as I've brought up in another thread I've been having trouble loading up some of the smaller pdfs with large chunks of page not wanting to load. That being said though I'm going to see about downloading adobe reader and see if that works.

Have you tried the one file per chapter versions?

Liberty's Edge

If you are using Android I recommend Radaee PDF reader, by far the fastest loading for me on my Tab 10.1

^^Agreed. Radaee is by far the fastest I have tested. It will even handle the non-lite core without to much delay in page loading.

Thanks for the tip on the Radaee App. It is blazing fast.

Shadow Lodge

is it a free app?

I use ezPDF Reader, which is marginally slower than Radaee but is a much better-built app.

Still yet to find an app that supports tabbing between multiple open PDFs, though - that's a tricky feat.

is it free ?

Radaee is free. There is a free version of ezPDF but a great PDF reader is worth spending a couple bucks on.
