Questions about Slayers Brand

Hello all,

I have a few questions on how the Slayers Brand judgment works, from the advanced Race guide under the Kinslayer racial archetype for the Dhampir race.

I'm trying to get the communities view on how this ability should work.

What type of action would you think the attack is?
Is it an "active" judgment like normal judgments meaning you can use a swift action to change to a different judgment?
Can you repeatedly brand the same undead creature in order to inflict damage?

Any other thoughts or ideas on this I didn't think to question?

I just feel that this ability could be interpreted in different ways so a consensus from the community would really help.

In addition to the above, I'd like to know if this is an error or an awesome:

"This attack deals an amount of positive energy damage equal to 1d6 + the kinslayer's Charisma score..."

Does it really mean SCORE? Or Modifier?

I'm just gonna guess it means modifier, nothing should be able to cause that amount of damage at first level. I'm playing a kinslayer for the Kingmaker campaign right now actually.

I also have been wondering how slayer's brand works. I know it is a swift action to gain the ability to use it since it says so in the ability it self and from what it says from the judgment ability.

"When using this judgment, the kinslayer gains the ability to brand undead creatures with positive energy."

However what action is it to use it once you gain the ability to use it, standard seems really low for a touch attack that does so little damage, unless it really is your CHA score and not modifier, or could it be a swift action since activating a judgment is a swift action?

Yes - "As a swift action, she can change this judgment to another type."

I don't see any reason why you can't, So go ahead and burn them full of holes :D
