Effectiveness of Fighter(archer),Rogue(sniper)

Wanting to play an elven archer for PFS. Would a fighter/rogue be good mix. And what would be the best feat tree for this combo?

No no no no nonononono. To put it simply don't go Rogue sneak attack on ranged attacks is bloody awful and they don't really have anything else to give you. Consider just using Trapper Archetype Ranger instead?

It depends on what your looking for. If you want max damage go fighter with no level dips into anything else. While doing this take every archery feat you can get with the main ones being point blank shot, precise shot, rapid shot, many shot, and deadly aim. Also do not forget the weapon focus and specialization feats.

If you want more of an elven feel then your best bet is an archery ranger. With the correct archtype you can even get good trap finding/disabling skills.

You may want to consider a Zen Archer. Dip 3 levels of ninja for sneak attack and fast stealth rouge talent. Pump WIS, and STR your DEX only needs to be 13 for deadly aim.
