Does anyone make tiles for miniature gaming where you could create a town for wargames/rpg. I see a lot of these homemade wargames where soldiers defend/fight in 3d terrain but for the most part its fighting outside or there are maps like heroclix in which the town stays the same. dd like to place tiles down onto a gaming table and create a game in which there is combat outside and inside (zombie invasion, Dr Who etc ). Any ideas. Gamemastery has some store tiles but i didnt see see anything for more modern buildings or other one piece buildings? My goal is to have a green felt board with some 3d terrain such as tree/cars or whatver depending on game and then create a town/village out of tiles

Fat Dragon Games has a set of medieval town tiles.
HERE.
These are flat, 6" by 6".
I don't own them myself.

I know Renaissance Miniatures has done a couple of KS's and produce nice village and peripheral pieces. I'm not sure if they are exactly what you are looing for, but they are modular and well made.

ok what im looking for is to create a board for say a home made war game or setting for a D&D style game. What im looking for are only flat interiors of inns/shops/houses and be able to randomly place them down on a table and add my miniatures and other scenery to it. If u walk into your local flags and you see those tables where 2 people or more are having a wargame battle and they use those expensive or homemade buildings. Instead i want say something that looks like the outside of the building but has an interior with a door/windows (similiar to WOTC dungeon tiles or heroclix maps). the problem with heroclix maps or large foldout maps is the scene never changes and with tiles i could place the inn as far away from say the farmers house or prison as far as i want.
I checked out amazon reviews of the WOTC city tiles and it seems to be a mixed bag for what i want/need.

Sounds like you want a mat, that you can place the building tiles down on. I haven't seen anything exactly like this, but WotC did put out tile sets with buildings that show the interiors. There's the one with the wizard tower, chapel, jail, swamp house/cabin, cottage...
Check for:
Arcane Towers
The City
Shadowghast Manor
Technically speaking you could buy any tiles set and place them on a mat, then specify that every tile has walls, but it'll be the doors and windows that you'll need to mark somehow.
