Outsiders immortal?

So I have always been under the impression that Outsiders do not age nor are they affected by age (essentially they are immortal aside from violence or other damaging circumstances), but now I can't seem to find where this is written. Anyone have a source on this or am I just making it up?

I don't have a source for it either, but I've also always been under this impression as well. Outsiders are immortal, without need to eat, or sleep, but can be killed through violence.

This is individual trait of specific outsider races. Native outsiders character races (aasimars, tieflings, elemental-descendant races and fetchling too) age normally and die when their time is out while other native outsiders (Rakshasa, Oni, Kami) probably don't.

I think it probably does. If you have a seperate soul you age normally, and can die. But you can be reincarnated, resurrected, etc without using the highest level and most expensive spells to be restored to life. The outsiders who require those high level spells are probably the ones that are immortal.
