There are various versions of Hellbugs, going off of the games. We should probably design a base "standard" Hellbug and then go from there. They are very similar to a Giant Insect of some sort, and have a striking resemblance to ants. Maybe use Giant Ants as a base idea and go from there?

Aren't these helbugs more like boulders on crab legs with big toothy maws? I mean visually.
I think giant ants would be a poor base to go from. I haven't played the game but i would imagine they primarily attack with their two front legs.
I'm generally a big fan of swarmy bug aliens but i really don't like these guys. They look like someone sat down for two minutes and then was done designing.
I would love to have a race like this in Pathfinder (and there is mention of one in distant worlds) I'd rather see these converted into actual rules.
