The most useful utility scrolls

Advice

Playing a wizard, it has become my responsibility to take over not only the battlefield, but also the skill monkey portion of our game, thus I need help knowing all of the spells I might need at any given time, preferably listed in order of importance.

Sovereign Court

Mostly look for things that don't need saving throws, plus anything you really need in a pinch (sans feather fall). I usually keep scrolls of Teleport, Dimensional Anchor, Resist Energy, Major Image (no st if not interacted with) and Gust of Wind around, amongst others.

Also consider the feat Fast Study - it allows you to prepare spells in as little as a minute, which you'll almost always have as long as you're not in the middle of combat.

I'm thinking spells like knock, dispel magic, and other things along those lines will also be useful.
If I have Illusion as an opposed school can I still scribe scrolls of it at the regular cost?

Gentle Repose - better yet convince your Cleric or Oracle to carry it.

You need a hundred scrolls of Read Magic... got that once from a DM who found it hilarious.

Shadow Lodge

Touch of the Sea
Jump
Spider Climb
Mount
Blur (will stop you getting sneak attacked)

Pretty much every utility spell that you don't need a DC for, can get cheaply (25gp is a steal, really), can cast out of combat.

Both Knock and Dispel Magic rely on Caster Level, which means they'll probably be a poor investment - either they'll be incredibly expensive or the CL bonus will be so low that the spell has a minimal chance of succeeding.

An example of a great divine scroll could be Delay Poison (no CL check or save, good duration) and an example of a bad scroll would be Remove Disease (requires a CL check to remove, meaning most level-appopriate diseases will be very hard to get rid off with a d20+5).

What you want are scrolls that give a significant fringe benefit but that you won't need often enough to prepare yourself. They should give a static bonus or penalty, not allow saves, and/or that have a duration which isn't destroyed by low CL.

That way you can buy the scrolls at the minimum cost and not worry about low duration/saves making the scrolls obsolete. Reynard and Avatar have made some good suggestions.

I'd say Shatter, since it's been quite useful in my experience. Sometimes there's just something you need to break, and for whatever reason nobody can do it with a Strength check. It does grant a save if the object is attended (or a crystalline creature) but in those cases let the melee do the sundering. You'll always find a use for a scroll of Shatter.

I've found certain long duration spells to be good to scribe, such as see invisibility.

There's a PRC that uses your CL for scrolls. I forget which, but I'm sure someone will know.

Also the Staff like wand discovery is quite cool if you're the right level. Though you have to take craft staff and you may as well take craft wand. It'll save you some trouble.

I happen to be that. I'm an Arcane Savent. Too bad our GM does not believe in letting his players getting many consumables.

You're a wizard, so you have Scribe Scroll right? Just make them.

I *think* the Cyphermage can do this.

Sovereign Court

Oh yeah, definitely get See Invisibility. And maybe Daylight or another high-level light spell, too, just for when you fight those pesky devils.

I sometimes question scribing spells like Daylight since if it's dark, you can't read the scrolls to cast the spell.

Write it in braille and add Language: Braille.

I'm kidding, but it might work with a lenient DM.

Lesser restoration

Obscuring mist
Glitter dust
See invis
Delay poison
Mending
Protection from evil

Scroll of Cure Blindness?

Rope Trick and Napstack are great to have on scrolls when it is time to rest.

I have a wizard in my RotRL campaign that specifically learned Braille and spent a significant amount of his personal wealth re-scribing every spell he has in Braille to make sure he can dispel blindness should it ever happen... again.

...He had an unpleasant run-in with Caizarlu.

It's actually come in handy a few times - he can now prepare spells in complete darkness, for instance.

No list from me, just keep a note pad with the spells you prepared, but didn't need to cast. after several sessions, sit down and review.
