Advanced rule book bloodline with feats

Rules Questions

Trying to get more into pathfinder. Last several games I have played fairly easy classes. Well my ranger died recently leaving me open for a new character, and I was thinking about running a Sorcerer. While looking through the bloodlines I came across bonus feats.

Such as
Bonus Feats: Agile Maneuvers, Defensive Combat
Training, Enlarge Spell, Great Fortitude, Improved
Great Fortitude, Skill Focus (Craft [any]), Spell Focus,
Toughness.

My question is, are those feats I get at lvl 1 for having the bloodline they are listed in?

It's the Protean bloodline out of the advanced rule book.

No at certain levels you get to pick a feat from the list as a bonus feat.

Oh, I see. How do I know which lvls I get the bonus feat?

Look at the sorcerer class in the core rule book it will show it on the special section of the chart.

Ok, another question I had. If it's not to much trouble. I was told that if I had a modifier, I could use more then just 1 1st lvl spells. So if I had a +4 modifier, I would be able to use the 1 1st lvl I get, +4 more spells at lvl 1?

No, Whit +4 you get +1 Bonus level 1, +1 Bonus level 2 (but only then you actual can cast level 2 spells, thats level 4 for Sorcere), +1 Bonus level 3, and +1 bonus level 4. Asuming that your +4 is from high Charisma score. See Table 1-3 side 17, in Core Rulebook.

alright, so with a +4, I would get a bonus lvl 1, and I would be allowed to use 1 lvl 2 at lvl 1? And the +4 has to be in which stat? Sorry if I'm a bit slow at getting this.

Scarab Sages

No, you will get your 2nd level bonus spell once your character level allows you to use 2nd level spells. The +4 has to be in the relevant spellcasting ability - for a sorcerer that would be Charisma.
