C: no that monster is immune to that damange... muahahaha ... wait.. my ears are perky again adjusts purple ears to perky
My PFS senses say PFCBG GM'ed for Argen at Cape Comic Con this weekend and that the quote above may be a hint.
Argen, please understand that at this point no stone will be left un-turned and that we do this in fun and not in ridicule - On with the guesses!

All I can say is that the last game was a great one to end on as I take a mini break from GMing

:) I was thinking about making an intellect devourer hat for GenCon... :) Somebody really needs to make them, I think it'd be fun.

Why is playing up "gaming the system"? I've died playing up before on my first character. And in general I hate playing up. But my group needed a player in the party bad to make a good table so I agreed to play. It was thrilling and more than once I was down in the single digits, but we made it.
Do not worry abotu what other people think. No matter what you do someone will disagree with your choice and complain about your play style.

Oh... gads.... Now I suppose I'm going to just have to keep the dang thing as the sword is now creating it's own vortex, draining what little intelligence my fighter has; 7 (how ironic) and becoming sentient. Willing me to never remove it.... and with a 7 wisdom (again, how appropriate) no chance to make the save....
Chris, be careful... Bunny ears might be electrified.

Yeah, you'd have to be grounded to not get shocked.

I played "The Cultist's Kiss", "The Fabric of Reality", "The Refuge of Time", and "Tower of the Ironwood Watch". With another on my newly created Pally.
Just a bad group of scenarios for what you had. A lot of Immune/resistance to elements in that group of scenarios. Still there are PLENTY upon PLENTY upon PLENTY of scenarios that your enchantment will work just fine in.

So it is shocking? Put me down for 'not the MOST optimal choice, but certainly not the worst'. An extra 3.5 damage per hit is nothing to sneeze at, and electricity is not resisted often except by all the things you seem to have fought in the last short while.
Avoid hitting shambling mounds with it, by the by.

So I guess since we have figured it out, the real question would be the question of it's legality since I purchased it without the required fame?
Say it was Keen. Would the court show mercy?
In any case I was really shocked (lol) that there was not some sort "removal" fee using magic.... gads, with all the power held within the known world that this would just be toooo massive of a sitch.
"Vorpal +5 long sword? No problem my good and faithful Pathfinder! Be ready for you tomorrow."
What? REMOVE an enchantment?!?!?! Are you Dafted MAN!?!? That would rip the time space continuum... The rune lords themselves could never attempt such a feat!!! That is one of the ways scholars believe the World Wound was created!!!! Now go away and NEVER, EVER speak of this to anyone.

Argen,
The reason so many people are interested in the enhancement that is "bad" is so they can look at it themselves, see why it appears good and then figure out why it is bad. Look at telling people as a public service to prevent others from going through what you are going through now by warning them away from the horrible enhancement.
