Good job sir!!!
Cangames was my first and will forever be my favourite convention. I wasn't there at the very beginning, but pretty close! I eventually ran Car Wars, but I sure loved the RPG's. The best four days of every year!!!
I still remember going to Fandom every day to see if the pre-registration forms had showed up!!!
Hope everything goes well this year! I'll be there next year, I'm in Windsor now.
Good Luck!!!
Big Jay

The first adventure I ran at Cangames was in 1985 when I was 13. It was one I "wrote" and it was basically just a collection of traps from the Grimtooths Traps series. Everyone died but it was actually quite a bit of fun.
The fact they would let a 13 yr old run an adventure he wrote himself should give an indication of how big things had gotten!

Yup, there were lots of unofficial scenarios being run, created by the GMs themselves. And each of these sessions were packed too, unlike today (non-PFS gets a lot less interest). Lots of unique stuff, I was just glad to be a beneficiary.
Every year we'd hit Gap Jackson's Killer Dungeon, which was good fun since he usually had a huge terrain map to move your PC over. And maybe a Car Wars.
Lots of low level play on the 2013 schedule, I'm sure lots of new players will be introduced to PFS. Like I said, wish I could help, wish I could be there.

Wow! Just catching my breath here as each of our first 4 slots have sold out and if the con had more tables available we could have easily hosted another 4 or five tables in that time.
Three full slots tomorrow with space available for 10 more tables of PFS goodness including tables of Frozen Fingers of Midnight and Prince of Augustana run by the author (my brother) Craig Shackleton.
Sign up early cause space is going quick!

Well, Glen, 20 tables was pretty good! (The 21st was lost due to an error/mixup in the CanGames listings for one event - the players from that table were able to be transferred into the other two in the same slot.)
Great job in organizing things, and thanks to all the players that traveled here to play and run games.

Yes I am especially pleased with all the new players we recruited from the area that were obviously very interested new recruits as some of them played throughout the con. Special thanks to the Montreal contingent who were a great group of players, and to my team of GMs who did an amazing job in less than ideal conditions.
