'Best' sorcerer for RotRL

Going to be playing in a Rise of the Runelord game in a few weeks, and I'm aiming for sorcerer (or oracle, depending if a healer is needed). I've got one with the rakshasa bloodline lined up - the character background is good that I'm coming up with, but one thing I'm worried about whether its the right one for this particular campagin.

I've heard there is some cult chasing, so I think that the silver toungue ability and detect thoughts would help in some cases (and gaining charm person, suggestion as bloodline spells, too).

Are there other bloodlines that I should consider instead?

starting from part 3 you will be encountering a lot of giantkind, so some good will save spells will make you shine. Other tan that, ROTRL is a very varried campaign, so you could pretty much play whatever you like.

Ah, ok. I'm mainly worried that few social situations would happen, and the silver tongue ability (+5 to a Bluff, can resist abilities to force me to tell the truth).

You get a lot of social situations in the second instalment, but after that they largely trail off in importance.

My Diplomacy modifier of basically level+7, and nothing else, made me a perfectly adequate party face.

We had a Kitsune (Sylvan Bloodline) who was so incredibly effective that she almost broke the game.

You'll get a full animal companion to keep you safe and the most powerful Enchantments the game has ever seen - moreover, the particular foes you'll be facing throughout the AP are particularly susceptible to Charm/Hold/Dominate Person... if you don't like the idea of an Animal Companion you could just go straight Fey Bloodline and your DC's will be even higher. You also get some other nifty abilities like being able to turn Invisible at will starting at 8th level.
