The APG, where Magus was introduced and it said something about you only being able to use Spell Combat/Strike with spells on your Magus spell list.

In Ultimate Magic, in Spell Combat or Spellstrike, there is no mention of spell like ability. So where is this rule coming from?

he can make all of his attacks with his melee weapon at a –2 penalty and can also cast any spell from the magus spell list with a casting time of 1 standard action (any attack roll made as part of this spell also takes this penalty).
At 2nd level, whenever a magus casts a spell with a range of “touch” from the magus spell list, he can deliver the spell through any weapon he is wielding as part of a melee attack.
You are indeed correct. There is nothing in there about spell-like abilities. Which means you can't Spell Combat/Strike with them.
There is absolutely no point to dipping into Qinggong Monk as a Magus. At all.
Well unless you were a Kensai and had a decent Wis.

I'll take the Monk/Magus character tip under advisement.
However, I was looking for some rule somewhere. Just because Spell like ability doesn't appear in Magus doesn't make it a rule. Is there anywhere in any of the books about Spell Like Ability from one class being used with Supernatural and Exception Abilities from another?
If not, there should. Because this is sounding more like a home ruling rather than RAW like I was looking for.
Thanks

Yes it does. It says clearly right there you can cast any spell from the Magus spell list with those abilities. Period.
Not spells from the Sorcerer, Witch, Cleric, Oracle, whatever lists, and not Spell-Like abilities since they're not spells to begin with.
Now you can take Truestrike, cast that as a Qinggong Monk, and then Spellstrike with a Magus spell next turn, but you can't say take Scorching Ray and that Magus Arcana (Close Range) and use that to Spellstrike with since it's not a Magus spell.
And there's no point to taking 4 levels of Monk just to get a spell that's already on your spell list.

PersonalY I went 4 levels of monk Master of Many Styles/Qinggong Monk and the rest as Magus Kensai.
Master of many styles gives me crane style and crane wing. (crane style makes fighting defensive give me only -2 to hit but +3 dodge bonus, crane wing allows me to totaly negate one melee hit on me per round)
At level 4 instead of safe fall I take bark skin, the extra AC is nice.
As a kensai I am using a scimitar and going for dirvish dance feat.
So all in all I get to use dex, int and wis as a bonus to my AC, I get +3 dodge bonus, and a defensive spell not normally on my list and I can negate 1 attack a round. All the while only needing dex for both my to hit and my damage.

First you said you can't use spellstrike and spell combat with spell like ability, now you say you suggest that you can. Which is it?
Once again, Truestrike is an example.
I have already found by looking at the Magus Arcana "Broad Study" that spell like ability works fine with the Spellstrike and spell combat even if it isn't specifically described as such. If all the arcane spell casters have spell like abilities and can can work with the magus through broad study, I don't see why the Monk with a spell like ability should have the same problem.
I should have been more clearer from the start. Perhaps it would have taken less time.

You can't use Spell Combat and Spellstrike with spell-like abilities. I've never deviated from that stance. I did say you could use True Strike from the Qinggong Monk on one turn and attack with the benefits on the next, but that is not using Spell Combat/Strike with that ability.
Spell Combat/Strike is specifically used to cast melee touch attacks FROM THE MAGUS SPELL LIST in conjunction with your normal attacks.
Broad Study is A.) A specific case of an Arcana allowing you to cast spells from another spell list, and not in any way a general rule, B.) Says NOTHING about spell-like abilities., and C.) Requires levels in "another spellcasting class" and requires you to choose one of those spellcasting classes and you can use spells from that spell list with Spell Combat/Strike. Monk is not a spellcasting class. He does not have a spell list. Therefore it does not work.
Spell-like abilities are not spells. They replicate the effects of spells, but cannot be used as prerequisites for Feats and Prestige Classes that require you to be able to cast spells, and cannot be used with Spell Combat/Strike since those require spells (and specifically spells from the Magus list without that Arcana) to work.
