I'm looking at organizing some PFS sessions in Danville, KY, probably 1 per month depending on scheduling. I'm wondering if there is any interest in organized play.

Hi Gorthran, good to see some Pathfinder Society interest in Danville! I'm not too familiar with the scene there. Is there a gaming shop? Does Centre College have a gaming club?
I know some people in Somerset and Burkesville that might be interested in a once-per-month drive to Danville. Do you have a venue in mind?

There is a local game shop, although I hadn't talked to the owner yet. I was trying to gauge the interest first. He has quite a few game nights already, but I think he has a few nights a month free. We had discussed D&D in the past but he's never had anyone to run the games for more than a couple of sessions. I'd like to figure out whether there's enough PFS interest for organized play, or whether it might be better to start out with normal play and not worry about Society play for the time being. I'm new to PFS, although it seems pretty straight-forward.
I'd plan to email you in a few days and see if you'd had any interest in this direction. It's possible that Centre and surrounding counties might have some interest.
I'll get back in touch as I find out how things are shaping up as I might need to get a couple of pointers to make sure things go the right direction.
