Wow! with the number of broken garg blues.... all of those thin parts looks a little scary to my pocket
Actually out of the thousands of Gargantuan Blues sold.. Less then 100 were reported as broken on this site. So that is not that bad and not that many at all. and even then those could've/should've been returned to Wiz Kids and exchanged for another for nothing.
So I would not worry about this. I am SO not seeing the scary here at all :)

The issue with returning it is that there's been at least 1 reported that was returned and the replacement came back damaged as well. And its not returned for nothing, you have to pay shipping on it.
You are correct... it is not nothing. You do have to pay shipping. In the case of the one that was returned with damage though... that one was returned once again and Wizkids paid shipping on that one.
CK,
Another thing that can be done though and something I have done personally is that if a figure is damaged some how say by an unruly kid at a game table.. the figure can be repaired quite easily with some glue and a pin. One of the arms of Seaoni was sheared off and I drilled a couple of small holes in each side and then inserted a pin and glued it.
Simple fix and permanent. If you do not know how to do that or do not have the tools/feel comfortable doing it. Someone that paints minis a lot could easily do it for ya.

@Deanoth:I was one of those "less than 100" that had a damaged Blue. All of the dragons horns were broken off. It was poorly packaged in the larger box from Paizo. I had to contact the usually very responsive Paizo support twice (had to call the second time), and the person I talked to was less than helpful. He finally indicated I could return the dragon to WizKids, which I did, at a cost of $6.50 for shipping. The return process took about 3 weeks. This dragon had one of the pegs broken off of the base, it separated completely from the base as I carefully removed it from the plastic packaging. It's not a big deal to secure it better than it was, so that's not a problem. It's the "ho-hum" attitude that Paizo support took towards this, as well as the cost of the figure. Maybe WizKids would replace the second dragon, but would the third be any better? I can't wait to see how the skeletal dragon arrives -- my theory is it will be like putting a dinosaur skeleton back together when the box is opened.

Nameless Infinity.
It is NOT Paizo's product though. So the hum drum service you got was probably more then you would have received from a company when asking about another companies product.
While Paizo does consult on the product itself it is ultimately WizKids that produces it and and ships it to the various distributors (including Paizo).
Not to be condescending and not intending to be in any way I have to disagree with you on how Wizkids does package the dragon though. It was wrapped in Twist Ties and securely nested in the plastic. I am sorry to hear how the dragons horns were broken off and or how it was dislodged from the base on the second shipment. You are one of the few on the boards that reported it as such though. Again Sorry it happened to ya :)
