In the event description there is now a link to sign up for games.
If you guys have questions or advice. I'm all ears. I don't know if I need to book a second table and what to run on it. We shall see what the numbers start saying. Still have a bunch of time to get this up and running.
Gabrial Goodfellow |
Wow! it's great to see so much interest in this! I would love to have you all there! I wanna see how it goes the first week before I figure out how many tables I may need.
@Valmoon - I have thought about it. Let me get up and running first before I decide if I'll be running Adventure paths. At the current moment, there are no plans for it.
@Mike Mistele - We would be glad to have you. And tell your friends!
@thunderspirit - I would love to have you. I hope to see you the week after.
I will be at the dice dojo tonight to chat with the GMs and promote my game. If any of you will be there, I would be glad to answer any questions you may have. I will post any updates I have here as I get them. Is there any scenarios you guys want to play? Let me know, I'll see if I can run them.
Gabrial Goodfellow |
For anyone who hasn't signed up yet. We still have a few openings left. and game is in 2 days!
I hope to see you guys there. Also, signups for next week should be going up sometime today. It will also be 2 tables of first steps part 2. Mostly because all the players are doing part one and I figured I could finish the intro series before running separate tables.
Thanks again for all your support guys!

Also, when you sign up at cows, please be aware, there are always 2 tables listed. The second is just listed below the first and you need to expand it, by hitting the little arrow.
May 4th is also the start of a 3 part series of adventures. Should be fun! Hope to see you all there!

I've never played or run it before, but I'm always willing to give it a shot. Rumor has it that it's a good idea to keep credits for this series on the same PC though, I hear?
Indeed. That's whether you play it or GM it.
Fromper |
Oh, there's a special reward for doing all three parts of Quest for Perfection with the same PC? It doesn't matter if it's playing or GM credits, does it?
The PC I played part 1 with a year ago is too high level for the other parts now. But the one that got the credit when I GMed it a couple of months ago is still level 2. And in fact, I was looking to play that PC more in the near future. I still haven't done parts 2 or 3 as a player or GM, so I'd like to play them.

Ok, so recap, cause now I'm Super confused let me lay out my schedule and see if this changes things for you guys at all. Cause I just looked at my schedule and got my dates mixed up.
Coming up on may 4th is Quest for perfection part 1 & Goblinblood dead
May 11th is QfP Part 2 & ???
May 18th I'm scheduled to work so that's where I'll need help: should be QfP part 3 & ???
I'm terribly sorry for the confusion it's been a very hectic weekend and past week. And I got a little bit ahead of the curve and flew off the track.
And to answer Mike's question, We run from noon to 4 or so. I will be there by 10am. Mike, If you wish to GM QfP 2 or play, you are welcome to. I feel terrible for mixing up my days, but lack of sleep will do that to you.

;-)
Is this one of those "kill everyone with the tough season 4 adventure" things? I honestly don't know - that's a new scenario that I haven't seen yet. I'm scheduled to play it at the Dice Dojo in a couple of weeks.
Given that it's a new group at this location, and a lot of them might be new to Society play, I'd be pitching low level softballs like Frostfur Captives, at least until I'm sure at least half your table will be up to level 2.

As much as Night March would be awesome, I kinda agree with Fromper... also since I'm running it twice at GenCon and probably 1-2 times before that, I'm kinda hoping to play it before I GM it heh.
I could do Frostfur Captives - never ran that one. I leave it up to Robert, though, since it's his lodge :)
Gabrial Goodfellow |
Well The current plan is wrap up season 3 with QFP. Followed up by a jump to season 4 to wrap up my players lantern and shadow lodge characters.
Mike pick a Season 3 scenario, preferably. If you look at the event page, it currently lists everything we have played to date. If there is a season 4 scenario you really want to run, just let me know so that I can set up cows. Our player base is all between 1-2 right now... some are coming up very close to 3.
Fromper |
Looks like you've already got Frostfur Captives on the events page. Does that mean you've already run it there?
I'm thinking Icebound Outpost is another easy low level adventure from season 3. I don't remember what else is specific to season 3 off the top of my head.
Would you be open to running stuff from earlier seasons? There are a couple of fun scenarios that aren't specific to bigger metaplots if that's what you're trying to avoid. I'm thinking stuff like Assault on the Kingdom of the Impossible and The Pallid Plague from season 1, The Penumbral Accords from season 2, or Mists of Mwangi from season 0.
Gabrial Goodfellow |
Right now the focus is for getting the 2 retiring factions PC up to the right level to participate in their endings. Once they have finished those and season 5 has come around, we will attempt to stay current with season 5 but also be jumping around all the other seasons as well.
yes we ran frostfur 2 weeks ago. As for Icebound, Go for it! Do you need anything from me Mike?
