On the 27th of Lamashan, 4712 six parties of Pathfinders answered Shelia Heidmarch's call to obtain the Runecarved Key by any means necessary.
Many attempted to secure the Key, but only one team emerged victorious - though they did have help from the veteran Pathfinders at one point.
The delay in this report to the Decemvirate is due to the ongoing investigation as to why the dragon suddenly appeared on scene.

Some crazy author wrote that it stands roughly 3 feet tall when set on its Sihedron-shaped base, and is made of stone etched with glowing arcane symbols.

That is a big key.
1d3 Creations was willing to install LEDs to make the arcane symbols glow, but my $0 Venture-Captain spending account wouldn't have been able to cover it.

I had allot of fun at that event. I enjoyed being a "veteran pathfinder".

And the Key itself was something to see.

Spoiler:
after the Poctor of Abadar, played by Steve Miller, was rudely murdered.....the assassin grabbed the key, it was huge, and headed for the back door. He found he couldn't fit the Sehidron key through the back door, so unfazed, he turned and ran out the front door!

we all had a great time! Thank you Steve!

I loved the little dragon. He was so sweet. :)

I don't remember any tears, but the players at my table had a heck of a time dealing with a certain team of wizards and their unusual tactics.
