Regina, Saskatchewan, Pathfinder Group

Gamer Connection

Hey all,

I just moved to Regina this January and I'm looking for a gaming group in the area. Just wondering if anyone out there is playing Pathfinder Adventure Paths or otherwise!

Cheers

I am not currently in a gaming group, but I am also located in Regina and am looking to start playing again. If you want we could try to start a group?

Hey, yeah we could! Maybe keep an eye on this for another week or so and see if there was any interest. I don't know where else we would find people, I'm new here so I don't know anything about the gaming community (stores, events etc) in Regina.

Interested.

There is only a few stores that carry Pathfinder books, the main two coming to mind are the south and downtown Comic Readers. There is another store downtown that also carries some but the name is slipping my mind.

Been here around a year myself and had issues finding players. I'm currently running a Roll20 game for folks but would be definitely up for something more in person and actual pen and paper.

Additionally, my brother plays and I'm sure he'd be interested too. I'm currently DMing so I'd highly prefer being a player as running two campaigns at once might be a bit much for me to handle.

The other store you are thinking of is Tramp's. Its just around the corner from the downtown comic readers. It has a better selection of RPG books and board games, but the prices are higher.

2 people marked this as a favorite.

I'm a D&Der but would be willing to give Pathfinder a try. I'm in my 40s, not sure if that's a dealbreaker. Been playing since the 1st Ed days but haven't played much the last ten years or so.

I also have a lot of DM experience, but that'd have to be D&D until I get a little more Pathfinder under my belt.

Hey I'm new around here but been living in Regina quite a while.

Was hoping to start playing Pathfinder and would be interested in at the very least watching a group play and figuring it out. Used to play D n D 3.0 back in the day but that was almost 8 years ago now, would be interested in getting to know the basics again and seeing if this is as good as I've heard. Also I can get some more people interested if need be, I just need an introduction to everything so I can convince them.

Ah...Tramp's...Wizard's Corner...that takes me back!

Wizard's Corner in S'toon....didn't that burn down in the late 90's?
That was a great little shop.

Ah, S'toon in the 1990s....AD&D 2nd Edition. Good times.

I am also looking for others playing Pathfinder - I am in my 30's. If there is a group meeting regularly that could use one more shoot me a message!

Is this thing still on? I'm looking for a new group, either to dm or to play (prefer to play). Let me know if you guys are still looking for a new player, or to get a game going.

Just wondering if this thread is still alive at all. Moved here from Manitoba 6 years ago and haven't been able to find a D&D/Pathfinder group yet. I would be interested in playing in one for sure. I'm in my late 30's and have played since the Basic set. I guess that would be 20+ years. Wow, I'm old...Anyway, if anyone is interested, post back here or else drop me a line at my email.

Cheers!

Been looking on and off for quite a time, though with little luck. Doing most of my gaming through skype/Roll20 now since it's tough to find other players that can match a shiftwork schedule sad to say.

If anyone decides to run a pathfinder game in regina throw me a line.

Hi all,
We are a three person group looking for players. Pathfinder rules.

A bit of an overview:
This is a long running game in a world personally and fully developed by our DM. We love playing it. For well over a decade, players have joined and drifted away as we have moved across the provinces, and the world has grown into something amazing.
We are a role-play focused group of late 20s/early 30s. We love interacting in and with the world. The mysteries of the world extend beyond the game, and we often sit around and discuss previous sessions, brainstorm, or speculate about things!
Combat - we love combat as much as we love roleplaying, and we build our characters to the best of our abilities, and want to be strong so that we can make an impact on our world. We do not bend the rules, or munchkin, but we do min/max. If that isn't your cup of tea, you probably wouldn't be happy here!

No experience is necessary to join, just a passion for playing! We do not have a set date for playing at this time (since there are just the three of us currently, we just sorta pick up when we can), but we would all be happy to set a schedule.

If this sounds interesting, or if you'd like more info, please drop me a message or reply on these forums :)

Hey there,

Still definitely interested. I got an email from the forums when you posted the last post, but I haven't been able to find it.

Myself and another buddy are interested in trying to set up a time with your group if you want. We're both late 30s in age and have a lot of experience playing D&D.

Let me know if this works and I'll talk to him.

Thanks.

Hello All / Anyone in Regina?

I am desperately looking for a Pathfinder and/or D&D 5E game in the Queen City.

I am a veteran role-player in my mid-40's (married, no kids) and I have played D&D (in all it’s incarnations) since 1979, and I would like to start-up a new Pathfinder / 5E group or join an already established group as a Player / Alternate DM.

I have great deal of DMing experience (to be honest, it's been ages since I've actually been a Player) and I have a tonne of gaming materials, as well as my own Pathfinder & 5E Core books, far too many dice, miniatures, vinyl maps. etc ...

I am willing to play just about anywhere in the city and can host games (for respectful players) if necessary. I would prefer playing Friday, Saturday or Sunday nights ... either once a week or every two weeks as schedules allow.

I look forward to hearing from any serious, mature role-players in the Regina area looking to play Pathfinder or to dig into the new 5E rules ... at this point, I just want to game. :)

Hey Metal Demon, saw your post and I too am looking to find a pathfinders group to join. I have been out of it the past 6 months but before that I have about a years experience. Love the game and looking to see if anyone else wants to get together for a regular game session. Weekends work good for me too. Hit me up and let me know what's going on.

I opened a more recent post for players and gms here in Regina please contact me if your interested in playing
