Mail Bouncing

Yesterday, Erik Keith sent me an email helping me with an order. I sent back a "thank you" reply. My email server (sff.net) later sent me a note saying it tried to deliver it ten times before giving up. I thought this would be a temporary glitch, so I resent it with a postscript several hours later. Same problem.

My order is fine and I do not need any changes, but the bouncing email is worrisome. Any thoughts as to what's going on?

Kevin,

The most common reason for this is that our mail server will bounce emails with no subject lines (as an anti-spam tactic). If that's not the problem, can you PM me with the headers from the bounced message? Specifically, I'm looking for the part that says something like this:

The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 5.7.1 empty subject header.

or

host mail.paizo.com said: 550 #5.1.0 Address rejected.

They both had headers--replies to order numbers--so that shouldn't be the trouble. Will PM you the headers from the two bounced messages.
