Alchemist and Eschew Materials feat

So I had craving to build out an Alchemist for Shts and giggles and was wondering if Eschew Materials feat would work for the class. To me it should since there are few extracts that have materal componets in them.

How exactly would Eschew Materials benefit the alchemist? Material components seem to be already rolled into the whole "I mix chemicals to prepare my spells/extracts" bit.

Note that strictly by RAW, Eschew Materials does nothing since you aren't technically "casting a spell".

Pretty much everything Ben said.

Alchemists sit in this weird place where feats that apply to spells don't work with them save a few call-outs. That said, this one in particular makes zero sense for an alchemist.
