Maybe get Eyes of the Eagle to up your Perception skill. A Quick Runner's Shirt is good to get into a critical position once per day and still get your full attack off. Boots of Speed are critical if you don't have a reliable Haste buff coming from your allies.
If your GM is very permissive, try to get a Mask of the Mantis from the Inner Sea World Guide crafted . And try to make him have it look not like the actual item, it's not very fun to openly look like the member of an assassin's guild. ^^
As a novelty item I personally like the Apprentice's Cheating Gloves very much, given how prevalent Prestidigitation use comes up with my players.
You could also look at slotless items, like the different Ioun Stones ( you can put them into a cheap Wayfinder ( also from the Inner Sea World Guide ) if you find them buzzing around your head un-stylish for a Ranger ). Or maybe get a Stone of Good Luck.
Personally, I'd recommend getting a 3rd level Pearl of Power or two. Having more castings of Instant Enemy available is a huge boon.

Bear traps. Seriously, bear traps are amazing. Especially when you combine them with a few flasks of alchemist's fire that break when the trap is sprung. Immobilized, or half speed, and decent damage. If they want to remove, then it takes a full round. Also, unless they have the trap spotter trait, there is basically no chance of them noticing them.

Hey guys,
Thanks for the great suggestions. The Quick Runner's Shirt is definitely something I will want to buy, but I can afford it from my personal coffers. Bear Traps seem awesome. I was immobilised by an NPC recently. I think the Bear Traps will be a nice way to stickit to my GM.
My current build is:
Theibar Temidus (Elf Ranger)
HP: 109
Str 18 (enhanced); Dex 16; Con 12; Int 14; Wis 18; Cha 12
AC 22 = Studded Leather +2, Ring of Protection +1, Amulet of Natural Armour +1, Jingasa of the Fortunate Solider +1. Plus 2 when dual wielding, and plus 3 when against Humans.
-Feats-
Persuasion (to be removed), Quick Draw, Throw Anything, Hammer The Gap, Favoured Defence (Human), TWP, iTWP, Two-Weapon Rend, Boon Companion, Two-Weapon Defence (Bonus story feat)
-Class Features-
Favoured Enemy (Human +6, Undead +2, Outsider Evil +2)
Favoured Terrain (Forrest +4, Mountains +2)
My General strategy in combat is to get in close and blend. Sometimes I will default to a bow. If the combatant is a favoured enemy, I may cast Return Weapon (communal) on my gear and Quick Draw to throw my weapons if I do not want to get too close. I often use Instant Enemy on the odd occasion we come against a significant, non-favoured enemy, foe.
