Maxing Dex Bonus to Full Plate

Advice

Is there a way to increase the Max Dex Bonus on a Fullplate past +3? Obviously I can construct it from mithril to get it from +1 to +3 but is there any other way. Previously I was banking on piecemeal armor but that's not legal in Society. I know there is Celestial Full Plate but I'd rather not use that.

A fighters armor training ability raises the max dex of armor he wears. That's all I've got off the top of my head but I think there are other ways.

Sure. You have to be a Fighter with the Armor Training class skill. every level of armor training increases the armor's max Dex bonus by 1. Oracles of Metal also get something similar.

Mithril is the only way I know (except for Noqual, which is the same).

I think celestial plate armor is also not legal.

Oracle revelation:

Quote:
Armor Mastery (Ex): You become more maneuverable while wearing armor. You can move at your normal speed in medium armor that is made of metal. This does not grant proficiency in armor. At 5th level, whenever you are wearing metal armor, you reduce the armor check penalty by 1 (to a minimum of 0) and increase the maximum Dexterity bonus allowed by your armor by 1. At 10th level, and again at 15th level, these bonuses increase by 1.

Aasimar Oracles also get armor training starting at 7th level

Silver Crusade

Hellknights get similar bonuses when wearing Hellknight Plate. A fighter/hellknight works out pretty well for that.

Celestial full plate and celestial chainmail are legal for play. The celestial shield on the other hand is not.

There is technically a loophole for getting the shield since it is not outlawed through the Advanced Race Guide, but you have to be an assimar to take it.

Note: Alternate racial traits, racial archetypes, racial evolutions, racial feats, and racial spells are only available for characters of the associated race. Racial equipment and magic items can be purchased and used by any race as long as the specific item permits it (for example, only halflings can purchase and use solidsmoke pipeweed).

Shield doesnt require Aasimar ... therefore legal for all

I'm not seeing where Celestial Plate is allowed. What source(s) allow it?

And they can actually get it twice if they are an Oracle of Metal, giving a Purifier of Metal a possible +10 max dex bonus in Mithral Full Plate at higher levels. Of course you would need 30 Dexterity to have a +10 mod to fill out the armor.

Reference? celestial plate armor AFAIK is from like Pathfinder #11 which is not in the additional resources. It has not been reprinted in UE or ARG.
